No. Not a bestiality thread! I just wonder about this, particularly in my case. Do animals recognise what sex we are by our appearance, or are they operating on the smell of our hormonal make up? An example; a friend of my ex had a male dog. He always went crazy at any man who came near the house, but was disinterested in or even friendly to women. First time I went there (in my old life), I got the full barking and snarling treatment. Second time (inbetween; hormones but unchanged appearance really), the poor thing was highly confused! Last time (new life) I got his standard response to women. Anyone know for sure? I mean, thinking about it the other way around, and taking into account we dont have the same sense of smell, its only appearance that tells me if a dog/cat is a boy or a girl. Do animals get to know what a man and a woman looks like - ie, long hair = woman, short hair = man? E
