Ohio and Michigan were way overrated this year. The Big Ten is the weakest conference in college football. Both those teams had very easy schedules. Michigan got spanked by USC. And the Gators slaughtered the Buckeyes. Ohio State didn't even get 100 yards of offense. It was a complete and total offensive and defensive domination. The Gators complete a sweep by the state of Florida. A Florida team has now won in every major sporting game over just the past 5 years. This has never been done before in such a short period of time... 2002 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers win Super Bowl XXXVII 2003 - Tampa Bay Lightning win Stanley Cup 2003 - Florida Marlins win World Series 2006 - Miami Heat win NBA Finals 2006 - Florida Gators win NCAA Basketball Tournament 2007 - Florida Gators win NCAA Football BCS Title Florida may be terrible with elections, but we are superior when it comes to sports.

I didn't know all of those details. Just knew it was the first time the same college has held titles in both football and basketball. And I went to high school with Cornelius Ingram for a short period of time, so I've very happy to be a former Floridian and avid Gator fan. Aint it great to be a Florida Gater?

We are so glad UF won. We are big gator fans, one of my daughters got all three of her degrees there, was a student athlete and then worked in the athletic dept. for several years. She was a sophomore when they won the championship in 1996, and i think she dated half the football team, LOL.
