Does anybody know why you can't delete your own posts here? Just outta curiosity...

Its just in case you really cock it up / say something embarassing etc - so we can all have a good laugh without you being able to prevent it.

I really ought to go to bed now, before I really start pissing people off.

You can delete them, but only for a limited time---maybe for up to an hour or so.  But when you delete it, you have to type something in or it wont delete.  In other words, hit the edit button....erase it all, then type in the word "deleted" or a smilie or whatever.  then save.  It will still show that you posted and to whom it was in response to, but the text will be gone.

Because everyone that responded to said post would be left hanging in the air, looking rather silly.

Maybe I ought to go to bed too.

Well, its the best offer I've had in a while..... just as long as you dont bring Tenchi? Two birds sleeping together is OK, but strictly no peckers OK?

*Sigh* Okay, I'll get his "Dad" to bird sit. It's not like he's been making his bird support payments lately, so he might as well be useful somehow.
