Yes, there sure is for me.  I'm dominant with women and submissive only to my husband, who is also the only man I will be with, ever.  I like to say I'm a lesbian domme who made a BIG exception lol.  Seriously though, without a dominant man in my life, I would cease to function.  However, I could never submit to another after him, so I guess if I had to, I would manage.  Now, with women, I generally am dominant, but it is in the realm of "possible" that I can switch, in play.  As far as just sexuality goes, taking the bdsm out of it... I can enjoy soft and sensual with a female, on occasion, but with a male... it must at least be rough and insensitive or it is a nightmare for me.  Lovemaking may as well be rape for me, with a man.  As far as other stuff, I love everything with both male and female, so in that... there's no real difference.  <sigh> I don't feel I have explained myself very well.  Sorry, I tried.  -- Jennifer

Bisexuality isn't ONE spectrum, it's two.  You could be attracted to one male in 1000 and 999 women in 1000 and I'd still call you bisexual.

This is my spectrum:

Males
1<------5---X->10

Females
1<---X-5------>10

I consider myself bisexual.

But it doesn't matter much- pick who you want to be with and what you do with that person.

understanding bisexuality

Good point.

A few years back- A female buddy of mine acused her husband of being gay. When she was in FL- her step brother told someone who told her- that her con artist step brother, when he lived with her and her then husband- claimed "Paul banged Jerries Azz." Well I lived with the unhappy couple too for a year. Paul had every chance to make a pass at me. When she confronted Paul, his reply, "I will kill him."

I told my friend Jane Doe, Paul is not gay, not bi. Paul would lay the homelious lady way before the most attractive male. Paul is not gay/bi..
I went on to tell her he never made a pass at me what-so-ever in the time I lived with them.

By the way, Jane Doe, you still owe me 2k. ya might want to avoid me- if you move back to PA.

I would have to disagree, pahunkboy.  The fact that the person never made a pass at you does not mean he is not gay or bi.  It simply means he was not sexually attracted to you.  It is possible the person knew that having sex with you might mean he was outed.

Could mean any number of things.  What determines a person's sexuality (in my opinion) is how the person determines their sexuality.

I am heterosexual and the world is populated with women I never made a pass at.  This does not mean I am homosexual.
