Like some others my first attempt at introduction was apparently construed to be a personal ad, so I'll try a different tack.
Good to meet you I'm Leathers. I know its a nick not my full name, but actually it describes me pretty well, in that leather is my largest fetish and in a manner of speaking talks to part of my state of mind. I've been in the bdsm scene for the better part of the last 20+ years, off and on. For the last several years its been more off than on, merely for the reason I've been unable to find anyone local to interact with but I hope to change that in the near future.
I'm a sadist, but I like to describe myself as a loving sadist, using my knowledge for the betterment of both parties and doing it in a caring loving manner. While I get some enjoyment out of the infliction of pain, its not to the detriment of my partner, rather the reverse.
I live in the Finger Lakes region of New York, and have lived here for 10+ years. Before that I lived in the Hudson Valley, having a little more access to NYC assisted me somewhat in my education of bdsm, but I learned much more by reading what was available to me at the time, as well as interaction with like minded peoples. Learning is what its about and always has been, I don't believe I will ever know all there is to know about it or relationships that dovetail with it, just have to keep plugging along as we all do.
I'd go on but as I intended this to be short and to the point, I don't want to go on incessantly. Hope to make some good connections and join in some interesting conversations. Look forward to reading and interacting.
