Hmmmm   It seems like the sound effects in that old Clint Eastwood western, "Hang 'em High" were pretty accurate.

Is it really necesary to have three post on the SOB? Yeah, Saddam is dead. We all know.

However, there will not be much change in terrorist actions. People only supported him for two reasons. They where either afraid or they liked the power that Saddam could give them. When Saddam lost power, 99.9% of the followers still alive went somewheres else to support or arise in there own power. Unlike Bin Laden, Saddam has just been a political figure and not a religious one. If and when Bin Laden is hanged, sheite will hit the fan.

Thanks for the insightful update....perhaps this is fodder for a fourth.

Lemme see now...  We need one for the news value, that started last night, one for the shock value, this one seems good, and one for the sobbers to boo-hoo that it should have been Monkeyboy cuz he's far worse...   You're right Ron, we need a fourth for assholes like me who think the death penalty is absolutely appropriate far more often than it is employed.

perhaps this site will institute it for those who post repetitive emoticons on a post, which is clearly against TOS.

I mean doing a little breathplay with Saddam was world consenstual.  Why not bananas?

Surely you can appreciate that some things can really be expressed only with the help of a chorus line?

I bet you are one of those that are indignant when people dance because people you support are killed.

That's a bet you would lose MC.  If I ever make a pilgrimage to Amsterdam, you can buy me a big, fat, legal joint and we'll call it square.  One of the great, ongoing self-improvement projects in my life is to apply the same standards of judgement to myself and friends as I do to those I don't like or agree with.  It isn't always easy and frequently requires a few deep breaths.

I accept that some may take offense to my seeing cause for celebration here (or to any of the other outlandish or non-pc ideas I have loosed within these forums).  They are welcome to file it away for consideration and let it affect every future judgement they make about me.  That is certainly what I have done with the images of Palestinian street parties on 9/11.

Yet I reject moral relativism and believe that some things are simply evil.  Ahh, the paradox of it all...
