Status: offline 		It seems to be the season for it, but my rewrite of The Cell's Door is being published. After a long and hard decision, I decided that my bdsm fiction is going to be published under my pen name Nigel Cross. I realized that as long as my mainstream novels were being published under my real name, it was going to be somewhat confusing and probably problematic to have both genres falling under my regular name.

For those interested (and for those not...), the book is about a man who finally achieves exactly what he has been seeking in turning over his life to his Mistress, but discovers that once he has done so, it's not what he was expecting. Under contract, he is trained by those working for his Mistress, until they deem him worthy of actually finally serving her. As someone who dabbles more in the psychological mindset of bdsm, it should be expected that the novel does so as well, pretty much making the road to submission a journey into deeper slavery where fantasy and reality really don't have a lot of boundaries. It's kind of like the thing I say in the forums all the time: What if you got your fantasies but instead of experiencing them, you were forced to live them?

I signed the contract, went through the galleys and now am just waiting for the actual publication.

Status: offline 		Dear Nigel Cross, since your last name is cross, I have a confession to make. I too am a published author. And how many people on this site does that now make? All of us who are published really have an understanding of just how much work it takes to get from A. to Z. This is no small accomplishment. And congrats is really not stroong enough.  I should as well, aim this post towards not only you, but also to MasterFireMaam and the tammyjo as well. Anyone else care to fess up? lol

I guess I joined this site about a year ago. And the reason was, I enjoy reading the posts. Its a pretty literate crowd. Now I know its an ambitious crowd as well. So my hat is off to not only you but to anyone who makes a go of this effort. Because it is an extra ordinary effort. You are right to feel that sense of accomplishment.

Very few of us are willing to go the mile for what is more than anything, a calling. Im sure you couldnt help yourself and felt that it was right, no matter the odds, all along. xoxo Sophia. And that's a hug and kiss to all of you writers out there.

I started writing a couple of years ago but have yet had the confidence to let anyone read my stories.  My family makes fun of my writings.  They have yet to read a story though. They are short erotica BDSM stories. I am doing one now titled The Dominate.  Maybe one day I will get the courage to let others read one. All this talking of writing has really made my creative juices flow.  Thanks for listening.

I too have a BDSM novel published.
Mine is more of an Erotic BDSM Romance than most, but it is doing very well.
