I buy myself something for Christmas every year, and this year it was a Cappachino machine.

I usually buy myself multiple toys for Christmas....but I took a pass this year. However, there's a new Rolex out there that I really like and I just might give in before the end of the month

I bought my self a black cashmere sweater. And I never buy myself anything, really. I just wanted one, and for some reason, decided this year I was going to get myself a present. It was not on sale, either.

A shower conversion for my turn-of-the-century clawfoot tub.  Much as I love my baths ... I NEED showers.

ohhh my ! I am soo jealous. My first apartment had a claw tub and there is nothing like it. I would climb in, recline and soak up to my neck in the warm water. I love my baths too and would love another claw tub. I was fortunaet that the landlord had installed a shower feature, albeit a cheap one, it did the job.

I bought myself some body splash from Bath & Body Works, but I spent so little (it was on sale), that I don't think it counts.

Since I usually get a lot of money and gift cards ( being the black sheep of the family,  most have no idea what to buy me ) I usually "buy myself" a few christmas gifts ...

This year?

A shower conversion for my turn-of-the-century clawfoot tub.  Much as I love my baths ... I NEED showers.

A few DVD collections of series I love.  (- Night Stalker,  Dead Like Me (season 1+2),  Firefly -)

The Complete Calvin and Hobbes collection (- thing weighs ALMOST as much as my dictionary -)

The next installment in the Repairman Jack books by F. Paul Wilson.

I want to take a swim in that tub of yours!!!!

Every year I get myself a christmas gift, this year it was another coach purse, wallet, and pair of gloves; pashima scarf; and some simple jewelry.  I've always believed that at the end of the day you have to give to yourself because no one else will.
