Yup, James Brown was an origional! I always wanted to catch one of his concerts but never had the chance. He had a great sense of rythym and style.

It makes me wonder how me any of the current music acts will be around in 40 years like those I grew up with.. like the Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead...etc?

Grateful Dead formally disbanded after Jerry Garcia died in 1995 The remaining members played under a couple of different names & in 2003 the remaining members (still alive) decided to rename themselves as The Dead but the Grateful part was laid to rest along with Jerry (respectfully)
