I think those shirts look great if you want to be bumped into the zone in which I will automatically read you as a Kinsey 6 and a bottom in the pitcher/catcher sense.

yeah, I'm sorry. It's early. But wouldn't you say that fashion is a big or at least an important part of BDSM?

In general, no. For me? If my dominant says it is.

Frankly, my dominant looks really sexy in one of those mesh shirts. It's all in your tastes.

Whenever I see the guys in the mesh shirts I think about how good they think they look, and how most of the rest of the people wonder what they were thinking.  Its one thing to wear them as a "costume" for a rock concert and all, but out here I see people walking out in the street that way. Then again I have the same problem wth women and bra straps showing... but thats a pet peeve.

No.. I'd say it's completely and wholly irrelevant.

Heh....Too bad we can't post any pics here.... because I used to wear those black mesh shirts with a black tank top underneath when I used to mix drinks / tend bar back in the early /mid nineties, and I never met a girl who didn't like them.

As far as them giving off the impression that the person wearing them is from the south-side of the tracks, that's akin to saying everyone who drives an SUV is wealthy.  Hell.... I grew up in the heart of Marin and everyone was wearing them.

Hello A/all,

I have the old football tops from the armor I wear for self defense class.  I sometimes pull them on over a t-shirt.  I have a couple of hockey shirts.

They are kinda mesh.  I imagine that since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if these shirts are truly a form of birth control (as I have been told Ugg boots are) then future generations will be free of the drive to wear a mesh shirt.

Just me, etc.

Mesh shirts. Right up there with Mullets and big gold chains around the neck.
Tacky as hell!
Reminds me of that bad "Actor" John Revolta.

I have to admit to likeing the long haired, latex and mesh wearing, cyberpunk look. Though like any kind of fetishwear it can be done badly. Pretty long hair, mascara, and mid-orgasmic expressions, look good on just about anyone.

LMAO at the birth control comment especially about Ugh boots!   I never understood their appeal!   My sis, and my friend would wear them to go out, and I'm thinking and saying to them "so looking like eskimos is what's sexy now?"
As to mesh shirts:   I would find them okay worn over a shirt to some class, or maybe out to see a game in the sun; otherwise, I don't much get into guys who love their bodies that much, but that is just me.

I used to wear one to sci-fi cons and selected fetish events and looks damned good in it. Of course, that was 10 years ago when I was actually in shape ... I wouldn't be seen in public (heck, I wouldn't be seen in private) wearing one now.

Mesh shirts are flaming and are REALLY not cool.  Ranks right up there with flannel and plaid.

As long as they aren't wearing mesh pants, I'm fine.

You guys are funny as hell.
Look mesh shirts are one thing,
leave the damn mullets alone!
What did a mullet ever do to you?
I used to love the mullet on Billy Ray Cyrus.
