Ok, so the practice was mentioned on another board, and, apparently involves one player puking on another. I'm not so much shocked or disgusted that the practice exists, just more puzzled as to its practicality. How the hell does this work? Does the dom/me throw up on the sub? Because to me, nausea doesn't say dominant. It says "I'm not going in to work today." Or, conversely, does the domme force the sub to throw up, which is more like dominance imho, but does the sub then throw up on the domme? And what about the scene surrounding it? Is it just bleeech "There, I puked on you, that was good for me, would you care for a cigarette?" Because I can't imagine someone feeling up for flogging a person (or any other sort of torture, for that matter) after throwing up, or in the time leading up to vomiting. What says the group? Has anyone here done the whole Roman Shower thing, or is it a purely speculative sport? I'm not being critical, I'm not really even grossed out by it. I'm simply curious.

Never done it but have heard of a couple in a friends local group that are into it, the Dom enjoys throwing up on His sub. Usually He'll eat a big meal and alot of water before the scene and then take ipicack (spelling sux) syrup and Voila the throwup falls begins.

There are ways to induce vomiting, from what I understand, like the post above, that don't come with the waves of nausea associated with being physically ill. Doesn't make me any more inclined to do it, or watch it, but there it is. Master Fire

Believe it or not I've seen a PBS health special about this years ago. In there they had a man who right at the point of orgasm got off on throwing up in the face of the girl he was screwing. I can't remember who it was, but it was some obscure Rock Star. They were focusing the topic on bulimia and said this guy definitely was the most perverted puker they'd heard about. It seems he was found out because he ruptured the lining of his esophagus by all the acid coming up his throat when he did this. The biggest problem I'd have with this is that I'd probably throw up back on him. Nothing induces the need to vomit more than the smell of vomit. What a mess.

It's not my cup of tea. BUT It seems that it has a following. I don't guess it's any diffrent from Golden Showers. I would worry about health risks, I belive there are bad germs that lerk in the tummy. Plus as a poster said before...........he tosses his cookies, I'd toss mine. ewwww. But hey to each their own.

I would imagine it could be anything the people involved want it to be, similar to scat activity - lots of options. I have not participated in this particular act before so I have no experience to speak from.

Just like any other bodily fluid type play, it can be a very direct way of demonstrating the direct physical control that one has over the other. The only real issues come with repeated long term exposure in damaging the stomach/esophagus/teeth and possible digestion problems (which COULD cause all sorts of other complications).

Taking ipecac repeatedly can lead to things like heart failure and potentially death...it's meant for emergencies (like poisoning) only. I hope your friend is very careful and does not use this often to achieve this sort of result. Now, this is not to say that they should stop their kink, etc...it's more to say I hope they have really considered the potential risks (which, in my opinion, are pretty big) and are playing safe. behindmirrors.

Definitely not my thing but to each their own. I'm wondering though how this vomiting would effect the throat after awhile. All those stomach acids can't be good for it, at least I wouldn't think so. ~Lashra

Fresh urine is sterile so it's not the same. One of the huge health risks of bulemia is the scarring and or ulcers of the esophagus, destruction of tooth enamel etc. for the vomitor...not sure what the health risks would be to the vomitee. Having raised two children i've had all the spit up and throw up on me that i ever care to and the only way i would consider the possibility of being the target of vomitus is if i took my grandson on a roller coaster, then it might be worth it.
