Hello, I'm new here and I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong exactly. I have had two photos rejected and I don't quite understand why. The first one was of me in my collar with leash (not being held by anyone, just attached to the collar), with a bare chest. The photo was rejected as not fitting the community standards because photos of people "in bondage" are not allowed. I have come across more than one profile photo where the person is wearing their collar and leash and is bare chested. I didn't think wearing my collar was being "in bondage" -- I thought that meant actually being restrained, e.g. in rope bondage. I didn't expect a community called "Collarme" to reject a photo of a person wearing a collar on the grounds that it doesn't fit the community guidelines; I'm even more confused because there are numerous similar photos on the site. Nevertheless, I just tried again with a different photo, no collar, no leash, no nudity. The second one was not displaying nudity of any kind and was a playful photo of me with my partner partially pictured. It was rejected without any further explanation than "doesn't fit community guidelines". I've seen numerous full nudity photos, subs kneeling fully disrobed surrounded by toys in dungeons, being caned/flogged, etc.. My photo was not what I would consider extreme or explicit, nor did it have any bondage gear at all, and there was no nudity portrayed. So I really am confused as to how to determine what the "community standards" are for photos. Help?

OK so what I get from that thread is that nobody else understands how to conform to the guidelines, either. Thanks for the clarification.

I wish I had an answer. I've had more than one photo rejected too. I gave up.

The Photo Gods change shift often, sometimes you get an easy one other times you dont. One of my favorite pic's was a half face, I took it off for a while then wanted to return it to that one. No go..... but when you look there's a million just like the one you wanted to post. (shrug) Just keep trying, eventually the pic will be found pleasing to someone.

I've given up trying to get my photo on the site. I've loaded 3 photos. Very similar in content to photos already on the forum, the only difference being its me in them..and they've been rejected. Not sure if photos are individually checked, but would guess that the rules on whats acceptable might be interpreted differently by different moderators.. However, its frustrating not being sure what will/will not be accepted. To be honest, its the only thing about this site that I don't like, and its far outweighed by the good things.

Quivver - I had something similar happen. I found out that by zooming in less the photo was approved, it took a few tries. Note that they are picky about the entire zooming in on a section of the body. Sometimes a broader view (being farther away) from the subject will work.

Where are those guidelines regarding zooming written? I've read what guidelines I can find and honestly believed that both of my photos were in compliance.

I don't know if they are in writing anywhere on this site, but it was in the verbage that was sent to me when my picture was rejected. I then took the exact same picture, showed part of my face and it was approved.

So you were given an explanation as to why your photo was unacceptable? I wasn't given that regarding the second rejected photo. As for the first one, again, I don't think that the guidelines are explicit enough regarding what is considered "bondage" and I have seen numerous photos where people are wearing a collar (YOURS!) and many also have a leash attached, or they are also wearing handcuffs, etc. I'm not going to go ratting other people out, and it wasn't that big of a deal to me -- it's not critical that I present myself in my collar although it would be nice to be able to. I just thought, no biggie, try again ... Second photo there was absolutely no explanation of why it was rejected and it in no way is out of compliance with the written guidelines I reviewed. No bondage, no nudity at all, no toys ...

I've had 3 different pics up and they all went through without a hitch, my wife had a nightmare of a time getting something approved. Keep trying. It's not like they are billing our credit cards every month.
