Today I was at the Mall and bought 4 of John Mayer's cds.
I've seen him on tv before and on the radio and liked his music but until now never owned any of his cds.
He writes all his own songs and has a great voice.
His style is jazz/pop/blues.
If you've never heard him give him a listen he's very good!

Who, Oscar Myer?

Popeye, Mayer is very good, he played on the new album by JJ Cale and Eric Clapton, as well.

I cannot stand John Mayer in any way. If one of his songs comes on the radio I have to turn the station- his voice just rubs me the wrong way- I cant listen to it

I love John Mayer.  I love his style of music and, before anyone jumps on the band wagon to knock me for my likes and dislikes, just remember they're MY likes and dislikes.  However, I'm always open to hearing new artists as I love musice immensely.  It moves me and helps me with whatever mood I'm in.  It actually helps me to keep a positive perspective on life, even when the song may be a ballad because it feeds my soul for what I need at that particular time.
