The way i read the ad's ad (gotta be a better way to say that..lol) pretty much anyone can run an ad as long as they cough up the money.  So..if a member wants to put up a paid ad, i say go for it...i'm just thankful for the site..and the friends i'm making here.

I have no problem with the fact of advertising. I do however have a problem with the advertising not being honest. I live in the Philippines and when I look at the ads of all these ladies who are pure white and all live in Cebu, I am certain that they simply key in on your posted location. The ladies in the ads no not possibly live near you. There are simply not all that many "white" ladies here in the Philippines. Also nearly all ladies here are 5' 4" of less and all in the ads are 5' 6" and up. What good are ads that are a lie???

I see this technique being used on many, many sites lately... keying in on your location to fool you into thinking that all these ladies are available to you.

I was just pm'd a few months ago by a friend from here asking when I had moved to GA. I was thoroughly confused until he explained that one of the click throughs on the bottom of the site here was a my photo and exact profile but saying they were somewhere in GA. Kindly he let me use his id and password to access the site and sure enough. My photo, my ad word for word with only the difference of where.  it took well over a month of arguing, threats of lawsuits for the use of copyrighted photos and the rationalization of why someone with the name SDFemDom4cuck would be in GA and not in San Diego California. I finally convinced them that the ad and photos were appropriated wrongly by sending them links to other sites with my photos and ad all of them listing me as being in Cali. They finally did some IP locating and realized I was being truthful although I wonder how much an influence a little letter from an attorney friend had on them as well. They finally deleted and removed the ad in question.
 
On topic....Yeah CollarMe for a wonderful site and opportunity to be a part of a great community. I no way blame the CM site for some idiot thinking it was acceptable to steal my profile and post it elsewhere.

I have run a number of free adult sites. I gave up because they became to much like hard work. Forums like this don't run themselves. While most of use spend our time browsing the forums, reading and responding to messages....someone...some anonymous someone , is keeping the thing running. Yes, advertising might be helping with the costs of the forum ( it aint free to those that run it) but it takes work to attract and keep advertisers.... If the people who run this site do cover their costs, thats great news. If they make a little money from the site, I would not begrudge them that either. So many people out there want everyting on the internet for free but dont ever seem to recognise or thank those who put in their time to make fantastic places like this free for most of us! keep it up whoever you are! thankyou
