I love to skim profiles too, just find them interesting. I'm told mine seems like a "seeking" profile, corrected it three different times already, now I'm fine to openly yes I *am* seeking -- I'm just not seeking what you *assume* I'm after, which is to submit to you, consider you for a relationship in a romantic vibe, etc. I'm seeking the people of this site, but not just *everyone*, I don't click with just everyone, I give just my basic ground expectations of anyone I'd exchange mails with. I just got the point where I was tired of so many expected explanations, let my common sense override my expectation of myself to be polite to everyone, and now it is what it is and if I feel like giving them more info I do, and if I don't, they just don't receive a reply and whether I'm seeking a relationship or not shouldn't hold weight then because if I was, I just made it clear they wouldn't be the 'one' then anyhow. May I whine a bit more, just for posterity? ... I'll take the silence as a yes, ok then. Wouldn't someone who professes to be very sincerely inetersted bother to skim your forum posts? Just a skim, select a random 5 from different topics, feel the person out with how they answer/think about a certain topic. I'm reasonable, I'm not saying they should read ALL of a person's posts but 5 is too much? Even a gamble on just 2? Horrible. I feel better, lighter, less like flicking people in the eye, thank you *giggles* [:D]
