He goes to a very conservative Christian university, and he can get suspended or even expelled for "inappropriate behavior" such as spending the night with someone of the opposite gender whom he is not related or married to. Stupid school rules. His friend wouldnt care, but his friends GF is an ultraconservative that would tell the school officials about Angel's dalliances without hesitation for "his own good".

Unfortuantely, we have to mind our Ps and Qs until June of 07 when he graduates. Minor inconvenience. Im just overly concerned that something will hapen and all the schooling will be jepordized. Thing is, anywhere I moved to in that area, it would be the sae problem. At least at this one, we know where his friends are and where they will and wont see things. Anywhere else and it would be hit or miss

OK, cross your fingers for me. The application was sent off today for the apartment and pending the credit check, everything is ready to go. If all works out, I start work in Nashville Jan 15 :) DV

I got the apartment! The cal came in today, I have my new address, I have all my information and I move in Jan 12. I start work in Nashville Jan 15. Everything fell together nicely, the only thing left to figure out is how to pack my car. It wil be so wonderful to finaly have Angel close at hand, and to be in a market where I have a real chance at advancement rather than the virtual dead end I have here. So now, with everything working out so beautifully... why is it I am still jittery about the whole thing? DV

Nothing like reviving a dead thread for a little anouncment. It is finaly here! I leave for TN at 8am tomorrow morning. I wll be offline more likely than not for agood long while while I am moving and getting things set up, but ill see if i can find a cafe or steal a connection to let everyone know i arrived in once piece. Thank you all for the well wishes. After I finally get settled, assuming all goes as beautifully as it has been, I'll be writing a Positive Experiences post :) Love you all (in that platonic forums sorta way) DV
