Neptune is fourth largest planet
South America is fourth largest continent
USA is fourth (some say third) largest country
Moscow is fourth largest ??? city.  NOT European, NOT Russian.... I'm at a loss...

ETA: (from wikipedia) Moscow is home to sixty-three stadia (besides eight football and eleven light athletics maneges), of which Luzhniki Stadium is the largest and the 4th biggest in Europe (it hosted the 1998–99 UEFA Cup and 2007–08 UEFA Champions League finals).

So, I write:

Moscow is home to Europe's 4th largest Stadium.

Thats pretty much it, Lance.

Planet, continent, country, city (by pop).

Sauces may vary. Choose your topping wisely!

LanceHughes -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/11/2010 11:54:24 PM)

Illinois
Kentucky
Indiana
Ohio

Hint: tight quartet, but not unique.  3 more states could be on this list

intenze -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/12/2010 4:43:14 AM)

All have big ten schools?

LanceHughes -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/12/2010 7:09:16 AM)

You might be right, but Lance knows NOTHING about Collegiate Football.... well, I do know that there is such a thing, but after that..... ZERO.  And remember, there are seven states: I doubt the Big Ten is limited to only seven states.

< ----- Lance likes geographical puzzles, and the other three states are: N.Carolina, Virginia and W.Virginia.  Contiguous, are we?  Now that is a BIG clue, but certainly NOT the answer.  Something about the area covered by those states.......

HUMMmmmm.  Any more and I'll have to type the answer. LOL!

ETA:  Can't get back to here until 4:00 PM Pacific time...... so winner (probably fluff or dcnovice - LOL!!!) - will just have to wait.  Sorry!

spiceguy2009 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/12/2010 12:25:03 PM)

if you hadn't said anything about N. Carolina, or Virginia, I would guess the Ohio River or Ohio River Valley

spiceguy2009 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/12/2010 3:41:51 PM)

a restaurant or hotel chain

LanceHughes -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/12/2010 4:38:13 PM)

Nothing human - totally natural.

Since I just know you are going to ask "Animal, vegetable, or mineral?"  I'll jump ahead and answer "Animal."

Well, tiny bit of human involvement is "in" the answer.

DAMN! Getting harder and harder to think of clues ("harder" is NOT a hidden clue.  If it were, the commonality would be Mineral, now wouldn't it?)

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/12/2010 6:28:32 PM)

All have the same State Bird - Cardinal

LanceHughes -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (1/12/2010 6:40:26 PM)
