The only states won by John McCain?

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/8/2009 8:44:36 AM)

Neither answer is correct.

They are states that have something in common.
There are others that are the same way, but most states are not like this.

shivermetimbers -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/8/2009 9:29:24 AM)

No state income taxes?

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/8/2009 12:55:25 PM)

No.

Most states have only one of something.  These states have two of that something.  There are also some others that have two.

I'm no good at this game, but Oregon can't pump their own gas...

AlexCutwright -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/8/2009 1:32:00 PM)

I have done a hell of a lot of web crawling, and what I find is disappointing, for my answering any how.

Not:

Flower
Motto
Flag
Quarter
Insect
Fish
Mammal
Insect
Bird
Reptile
Tree
or Readmittance Date to Union

Anyone with other ideas?

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/8/2009 2:17:52 PM)

It's none of those.

It's usually split along county lines for the purpose of dividing each state for this purpose.

AlexCutwright -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/8/2009 2:27:53 PM)

As I said, I was pointing out none of those were correct. :P Wasn't asking if they were.

Actual guess: All of them have (at some length) a boundary made by a river? Florida's St. Mary's River boundary Kentucky's Ohio River boundary, Oregon's Columbia River Boundary, South Dekota's Missouri boundary.

fluffypet61 -> RE: What Do These Things Have In Common? (4/8/2009 4:30:18 PM)

No, rivers are not the issue here.
