This is a bit of a spin off but it seems on here the total focus is WIITWD.  What other kind of sites do you visit?  Sports, hobbies, areas of research, whatever?

Some of mine are crochet, tatting, paranormal, perfume, recipes, health, and alternative health/healing.

No, the OP asked what kind of websites others visit and why (e.g. hobby, research).

ah, thank you Rule...well lets see....if they are not lifestyle websites...I visit genealogy websites, news websites (in Spanish and English), conspiracy websites, historical websites, websites on dictatorships and past governments, political commentaries, personal blogs, weird random websites...email websites, and mostly reseach combining everything stated previously stated on google. "google-it" has become my favorite phrase of late.

Myspace, youtube and Neopets (yay!) are on my bookmark toolbar.  I also frequent ebay.

I get my local news from the website of my local newpaper (and the Free Times website) and my national and world news from all over, although I usually start at yahoo.

When I am not looking for something specific I tend to just click around.

Sites i visit a lot are:- Fortean Times, Ebay, Sneeze Fetish forum (wonders why she is admitting to that one <lol>), DoctorWho sites, and my local library site, (having looked up books on Amazon i then go and order them in online from my library as i have no money to buy new books, and no room to store them). I also read a lot on Neo Paganism, the Paranormal, Witchcraft, and Druidry.

If you wanted to sell something that's very expensive what would be a good site to do that on?
By expensive I mean in the neighborhood of $25,000.
