I am new here.This may not be the right place to ask.I have been married for a long time and i realy what to have him control me.I was wondering if anyone has heard of a Taken in hand relaitionship.How might I go about letting him know and making it work.

Well, there is the obvious. Talk to him about it.... The less obvious is that if you have been married for a long time and he has shown no tendencies, chances are it just might not be in him.

"Taken in hand" ...I really liked those words you chose, I think I squirmed a bit lol. Good luck with your hubby, like La Tigresse said, have a chat to him, tell him about your desires....perhaps in the conversation you don't even need to be so confrontational, you could just start a topic with him such as "What he thought about men and womens roles within relationships"...know this is different for a lot of people but from your post it seems you have certain ideals around what that is, he probably has to...and maybe just through talking about it casually...you could introduce the concepts more dramatically into your relationship. A bit of spice in a relationship wouldn't be rejected by anyone I don't think..well except if they wre a boring old fuddy duddy.

That website has plenty of information on how others have done the very thing you ask. The first thing though you must ask yourself is if you think he can and would want something like that. These relationships take equal effort and committment from both parties. If you think he can and is positive to trying something then please also be patient. You are probably well ahead of him on this mentally and he will need time. Good luck! Lin
