Ever had some one walk up to you and ask "You want a piece of me?" My daughter seems to have miss heard it.

She walked up, waving her little fists and said "Huh, do you want a piece of meat??" "Here's a piece of meat!" "huh huh, you want a piece of meat?" Watching her get in her little fighter stance and ask me if i wanted a piece of meat was just toooooo much. I tried to explain it.. but she's a know it all.

i can see 5 years down the line, some bully picking on her and her saying "You want a piece of meat?" roflmao

I did throw a ziplock back of beef at her and told her i had enough meat, thanks.

We still use the children's made up words and mispronunciations (the children are seven and five now). My daughter called being picked up and carried "T-bear" (we used it all the time and my son naturally picked it up when he was a baby), and my son called sneezing "Bless you's". There are a ton of them, all of them sweet and most of them hysterical. Love your babies. They are wonderful little creatures.

No, but I actually had a guy come up to me, in a suit, in Times Square, stick his hand out at me as if we were old High school chums, I'm thinking "how the fuck does anyone know me here in the middle of Times Square?" and out my hand went, we shook. and he looked me right in the eye and said "Tuesday".

I never heard from that man ever again.

That was such a cute story. Reminds me of how, when I was a little one, I couldn't say your welcome correctly for the life of me. I used to say your wankie, I cringe when I think of it now.

I love cute little stories like that .

I have a 8 yr old princess and i just cant correct her. I guess since she is the baby i am trying to hold on to the baby in her. One day she came to me and was screaming " he is activating me mommy make him stop" so i went to see what he was doing ( he being the 17 yr old ) He was laughing so I asked what was wrong he said "i was just aggravating her". She said "yeah mom he was activating me." after laughing , I just smiled and said " stop activating her, please." I just cant correct her.

Thanks that was great! i'll try activating my daughter tomorrow. She's 5 and always has me cracking up with laughter. Especially when she acts all "big" and "mature"

She told me once her 9 year old friend was "annoying her, because she's whining too much" i think my mouth hit the floor and and i could barely muster a response. "Oh yeah, so its not pleasant hearing others whine.. well wouldnt you know"

i wish i had some other cute stories to share, but its late and i'm tired - )
