This is what I posted on another thread about it this morning.

quote:

Well we had a great night last night....tons of kids. I'm spending the week at the home of Scooter, Jewel and twicehappy. They have a huge Victorian home that we decked out to the max. We (and several others who were here) all dressed in costume (thanks twice for helping with hair and makeup.....and the homemade hot cocoa was a lifesaver!). The house WAS spooky and it was fun to watch the kids approach and tentatively decide if they wanted to come through the graveyard and up the stairs. Scooter was standing in the graveyard dressed as the Grim Reaper and I have to tell you that he has perfected MUAHAHAHA....it was even creeping me out. Most of the kids thought he was a robot and would pass by him and walk though the fog of the fog machine to get to the candy. On their way back out, he would go after them which was usually followed by terrified screams and squeals. Some of them caught on before they made it up the stairs and would be so worried about him that I couldn't get them to open their candy bags. The best ones were the one little boy dressed up as a Super Hero who beat feet out of there when he realized the Grim Reaper was coming for him,,,,,as Jewel said,,,,guess he isn't quite a Super Hero yet. And the little guy who was about 4 or 5 who looked at Scooter and said boldly...."I'm not scared of you...I'll beat you up!".....which was followed by a loud "Ahhhhhhhhhh!" when Scooter went toward him. It was also really cool to get so many compliments from the kids and the adults for all of our decorating efforts. We all had a great night. Oh, and leftover candy?....does anyone really mind having a little extra chocolate around???

As usual....it was a busy evening. I swear, kids these days must have never heard of blacklights because they go bonkers when they figure out that they glow...lmao. Weather didn't help much, was chilly and damp, but we still had about 150 or so victims...er, uh, I mean trick or treaters. I was good, I only made a couple short ones cry and I did get a violent scream out of one adult lady...muhahahaha. Didn't try the violet wand this year, even though I was tempted...I think we need a coffin to pull that little trick off effectively. Didn't have anyone wanting to wander through the graveyard for some reason this year however, maybe it was the battle axe I was packing...hmmmm. Of course waving at the police cruiser with the axe was interesting...go figure. Thanks goes out to everyone who showed up to help out with the festivities....it really is a lot of work to go through for a two hour performance, but that sparkle of terror you get in the short people's eyes makes it worth it. Oh yeah...I learned to give them candy BEFORE we scare the crap out of them, or they won't go up on the porch....lmao. We have two bags of candy left..but everyone knows that sub, slaves and Dommes all like chocolate....so it's all good.

Hope everyone had a Chilling Halloween..........BOO....muhahahah.

Well Thanks everyone for the update...!!!!! Sounds like ya had a blast and really went the extra mile for the little ghosts and gobblins!

I'm stuck (lol) with half a bag of Nestles Crunch bars....ate the first half waiting for Halloween to arrive. Kinda funny around here....I'm out in the dingweeds and if I don't buy candy.....a couple show up? If I do....none show up? Happens every year that way. 2 yrs ago a car pulls up my driveway....a little "princess" gets out and comes to the door....I have NO candy whatsoever....she's got her little bag open and I'm trying to explain how sorry I am....she's crying and can't stop. Man I felt bad....

Anyways....glad everyone had a good one and thanks for the report!!!!!!!
