Dang - I guess it happens to everyone at some point.  I was played for a fool.

First I discovered an unpleasant truth, but it seemed to be OK with an explanation.  But today I got the whole truth and uncovered a whole lot of lies.  So after ten months and a lot of hopes, dreams, fun, and my first collar, it's over.  I need a group hug.

I'm a tough cookie.  I'm going to take a little break from men then the hunt for Mr. Wonderful Dom will be on again.

I will send warm thoughts your way, as I can tell you already know, there are other fish in the sea.

Big Hug!  I'm sorry that happened, but happy you found out so soon.  Remember that you always get to keep what you learned in any relationship....his lies can't take that away.

Glad you have such a good attitude about it.  It is always hurtful to be betrayed which is what it sounds like happened but i always learn from the situation and use that knowledge for the next relationship. Take good care of yourself and get ready to find the best ever in the future.

Sorry to hear.  Take all the time you need and let yourself heal, sometimes that is the only thing to do.

Best wishes, Kasha

It happens to all of us at one time or another.  But I know that doesn't make it any better when it happens to you.   As they say, time heals all wounds.  I hope yours heal quickly and you find the one that takes your breath away and makes you happier than you've ever been before.   Big HUG!!

Much hugs. And it's nice to see that positive attitude to take a breather but not give up. Wonderful attitude.

<<adding my hug to the group>>
Consider it this way.  You found out before something seriously damaging happened.
Now, you take a step back, think about what you want to make sure you have and dont have with your next attempt... and then jump back in.
And be warned, you tend to find the best ones when you are on that "break" and not looking.  Thats when I found my little one.. when I had given up on men for a while.  One never knows

Thanks for the support.  I am gathering my trusted friends and letting them know how very much they mean to me.  That seems like the best thing right now.

Also, I tried to take a hammer to the steel collar, but it didn't break or dent.  So I did the next best thing - threw it in the garbage.  Since he was the one who dishonored the collar he does not deserve to get it back.  Perhaps petty, but I couldn't stand to have the thing in the house, and I'll be damned before he gets in back so he can just use it collar another unsuspecting sub.
