LTRsubNW -> It's entirely possible... (10/31/2006 6:42:05 PM)

...that I haven't had enough kids to grab all the chocolate (I've given it my best...I swear) and there may be some left over in the morning....

(God help me).

(This could be the end...)

share?

Daddysredhead -> RE: It's entirely possible... (10/31/2006 6:51:54 PM)

One suggestion...  go for a ride and throw it at oncoming cars like people do in a parade.  It may be distracting, even criminal in some jurisdictions, but throw caution to the wind, and throw that candy out the car window.  Hell, pretend the candy is a strand of Mardi Gras beads!  [:D]  *giggles*

LOL that's funny!

Or send them here - I'm on my 3rd Costco sized bag and the little ones just keep coming!  It's so cute, some of 'em start screaming Trick or Treeeeeeeeeeat before I even open the door.  I can't stop laughing at all the cuteness!  [:D]

Awww, I'm sorry (well you're there, right?)

Up until fairly recently I lived in the foothills, at the end of a one lane winding road.  The only cuteness in the house was me, and I ate the candy :)

This year I am house sitting in a lovely little suburban neighborhood and OMG the cute-factor is off the charts.  This little teeny tiny girl came to the door.  Must have been 2.  Didn't say a word, just looked up at me all shy-like.  I said "Ohhhh I just wanna squeeze your nose!"  She pointed a little finger at me and in the squeakiest, tiniest voice, said, "no."

LTRsubNW -> RE: It's entirely possible... (10/31/2006 7:21:46 PM)

(I've already cracked the M&M's pile)

KenDckey -> RE: It's entirely possible... (10/31/2006 7:26:58 PM)

And again  No trick or treaters   Even the kids that live 4 houses from me didn't come and I pass out toys not candy.  Hmmmmm worked in Cali but maybe I have the wrong approach here

ZenrageTheKeeper -> RE: It's entirely possible... (10/31/2006 7:27:32 PM)

LOL the trick is buying candy you don't like all that much.  Then you don't really want it when there are leftovers.

One of the mega bags I had, had Dots in it.  Dots.  Big deal, right?  Well some of these kids are coming through twice, thinking I don't notice, lol.  One girl comes to the door, about an hour after she already came here.  I put some Tootsie Rolls in her bag.  She looks at me and says, "Don't you have Dots?"

LT, I was expecting dozens if not thousands of t-or-treaters tonight, and had 4. I'll be taking my favorites aside for later, and bringing the rest to work to palm off on others the rest of the week.

cuddleheart50 -> RE: It's entirely possible... (11/1/2006 3:29:23 AM)

I didnt even turn my porch light on last night.

swtsouthernsub -> RE: It's entirely possible... (11/1/2006 3:33:41 AM)

I  sat on the porch just to watch them eat the lettuce and move on to my dying garden spot  where I keep all my dead bodies [:D]

My neighbors did the same thing..... they got "caught" coming home, but once they dispensed with those kids, I didn't see a peep out of them the rest of the night lol.
