What you need is a roundabout, smack bang right in the middle of Sunset Blvd. The roundabout forms a junction at which all traffic must give way/yield to allow those coming from the left (since you lot drive on the wrong side) to have priority. S can then drive up to the roundabout and take the U turn there, totally undisturbed by oncoming traffic who must yield, whilst others go straight on.
What you need to make the roundabout is something large and circular. The easiest way to obtain this is apparently to get very drunk and drive off alone into the desert in a pick up truck. About 2 am in the morning a UFO will approach you, so be sure to have a large net ready. Once caught, tie the UFO to your pick up truck and deliver it to the middle of the Boulevard. All you then need is a few give way/ yield signs, erected in concrete blocks to advise drivers they must stop. Any aliens in the UFO you can safely release in Hollywood as no one will hassle them there as everyone is weird.
