ok - for how many people was (is?) the addams family essential viewing?

Actually the Addams Family is still essential viewing.  However our household much prefers the Raul Julia and company over the B&W TV episodes, but we love those too...

I absolutely love that show and still watch it when it comes on TV. What child doesn't have a guillotine to play with? (Yes I did and I still have it) Who doesn't like blowing up toy trains? I mean this is what makes childhood special.

I liked the Munsters too, but I thought Lilly needed to smack Herman around a bit or at least cage him occasionally because he was just too dumb sometimes. Gomez was sexy, Morticia was sexier and Lurch could kneel for me anytime.

Chas Adams was VASTLY darker than any of the TV shows, which is of course why I adore him.
