ty Impgirl...you have the answer. Improve yourself...learn your role well, be positive and serious partners will gravitate towards you. Doms have a tendency to search out the most perfect and most beautiful subs and the same can be said for submissives. they usually do not find them and when they do, often fail miserably. A famous porn star was at a party I attended in the late seventies. She was accompanied by a man a good three inches shorter than her, not exactly svelt, and balding. He had a pleasant face and a quiet but strong (it seemed) demeaner which was lost on everyone but her. It was the talk of the party. What is she doing with "him"? Later when being interviewed, he was introduced. The Star said "he is my friend and the best lover I have ever had. I'm intending to have a good time tonight." He had obviously improved those things that mattered and learned his role in their relationship. I imagine they had a very good evening.
My best friend in this lifestyle is a new Dom...About 3 years experience. I have over 25 years experience. ( ya I'm a old coot, get over it) Before that he had spent 2 years as a cross dressing sub to a well known Domme, but, was starting to experience his Dom side. We attended a munch together where he met a new sub, a couple of years younger than him. she was an older lady who had really just opened up her sub side and learned everything she could about being a "good" sub. Her demeaner, her protocol was great. She who had never had a Dom before. He was a bit frivolous but the Dom characteristics were there...just not obvious. They have had to work at their relationship...but in doing so, they have become a wonderful couple...each encouraging the other to grow and learn.
The moral to these tales is this. Learn, grow, be happy and present yourself well, and your partner will find you.
