I've been watching this development a bit (can't say I'm an expert) but saw today that this French company has a well functioning prototype and expects to go into "large scale" production in a year.  Don't ask me to clarify large scale - I haven't a clue.  Top speed of 55 (at this point) and apparently it's a bit noisy (likened to the sound of a lawn mower), but it's a start.  It will be interesting to see how the oil industry responds.

Is that a problem?  Can't you just switch the one you use now out?

Plus shipping, etc., I'd imagine.

HA!  One can only hope.

I'm ready for our dependence on fossil fuels to be a thing of the past.

This is very interesting.  Especially the page with
the animations about how the engine actually works!

The offset connecting rod which holds the piston at TDC for
70 degrees of rotation appears to have a wide range of
applications.

The resulting torque curve which comes in at only 550 RPM
and then stays flat until 3500 is very impressive.

Thanks for sharing.
