It might be helpful to think of your clit as an internal penis (comparable in length to some small degree to a penis, only it's inside). Your g-spot (usually somewhere on the forward wall of the vagina) is essentially the sweet spot at the 'base' of your 'dick' and the external portion of the clitoris is 'the head' of your 'dick.' Stimulation at the base can be pleasurable and even intense, but often it's necessary to prime the pump significantly at the head first and/ or during; particularly since getting to the base involves invasion of rather soft tissue.

Of course not everyone is the same, but I've found a good bit of success with this information as a base line (on myself and other women).

I can't imagine any teenage boy welcoming advice about condoms or masturbation from their mother. Except for the topic of condoms and a short, "Use them!", my kids would run miles to avoid such a conversation. They wouldn't touch a box of tampons or say the word "puberty". One time I alluded to the fact they they HAD entered this world through my loins and you'd have thought I suggested they were dropped on earth from a spaceship. I think they would have preferred that.

My kids were pretty slick about clean-up, I never found any evidence that they did it at all, although I know they did.

Speaking as someone who used to be a teenage boy, I can safely say that if ones mother approached one about 'taking one off the wrist' then said boy would be uber embarassed. ALL boys do it and quite frankly we never stop. We dont want conversation about it, we dont debate about it and we certainly dont want to know our mothers know about it!!!

Wanking is great fun but by god its not a spectator sport!!! Mrs hand and her five lovely daughters are for private performances only!

A valid point was made though about using differing methods, if one gets used to a particular style; introducing variety in style and method should enable one to accept anothers touch without straining too hard or resorting to 'just let me do it'style situations to get one off.

Bloody hell, all of a sudden Ive remembered every euphamism for the hand shandy Ive ever heard! lol

My brother thought for the longest time we didnt know he was doing anything he was told he shouldnt be. The fact that I washed our laundry, since I am a bit strange about that, I was getting tired of all the socks going crunch. So eventualy, I went into his room and said "I tink you need some variety in your life. Heres a new pair of socks, the fuzzy kind. They are warm, incredibly soft and you should like them. Now, if I find them in my laundry again I am going to teach you to wash your own stuff."

I walked out. They never did wind up in my laundry, but they were hand washed and hung neatly to dry one a week like clockwork.

Talking to your teen about sex and masturbation is great. I dont know that suggesting alternatives to make sure by the time they DO have sex they arent desensatized is a good idea, you'll scare the living crap out of them. Or at the very least wierd them out so badly they wont want to talk to you about sex anymore.
