Having read all the posts regarding cold climates, I am thankful for the British climate, that is neither too cold, nor too hot.

I am thankful for belts, as strange as that sounds. I have lost a lot of weight, and there is a wonderful feeling or triumph when I actualy need to wear a belt with my work pants now. Small victories can make someone terribly happy sometimes.

I am thankful that yesterday I got to see my oldest child (12yr boy), whom I have not seen for 5 years. It was wonderful to feel him in my arms again and to see how healthy and handsome he had grown. A good man is what I see in him.
