Out of the shower yet, Level?

I saw the Vick/Nike story last night. I just bought a new pair of Nike's a few weeks ago, and it will be my last pair until this matter is cleared up. Just my own little protest on behalf of the doggies that have * allegedly * suffered at his hands.

Hmm, the vacation? It didn't happen, a little fly in the ointment.

I'm squeaky clean

I just bought two pairs of Nikes, they were the only shoes I could find that fit well (got to have good fitting shoes now, for sure ).

I'm sorry about the vacation, hopefully it's nothing serious?

I have bad feet too, and it is hard to find a good, comfy sneaker. Guess stopped making the style that was best for me, and I found a pair of Nikes that are similar.

Eh, the vacation must not have been meant to be. Spent my vacation in the hospital, but I am on the mend. So all is OK.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Suspended NFL player Adam "Pacman" Jones will surrender to authorities in Nevada and fight felony charges in a strip club melee that preceded a triple shooting.
Lawyers for the Tennessee Titans cornerback disclosed their client's plans Thursday. Attorneys Manny Arora and Robert Langford, however, said they had no information about a deadline of noon Friday set by police.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) - The Atlanta Falcons will be without receiver Brian Finneran for a second straight season.
Last week, Finneran had his second reconstructive surgery on his left knee in two years and will miss the 2007 season, coach Bobby Petrino said Thursday.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - If Jake Plummer decides he wants to continue playing football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would love to have him.
General manager Bruce Allen reiterated Thursday that the Bucs did not acquire the former Denver quarterback with intentions of trying to trade him to another team if he changes his mind about retirement.

"The intent is the absolute same," Allen said. "We want him on our team."

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- If Vince Young is any indication, cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones may have used up the patience of his Tennessee Titans teammates.

Young was asked during a minicamp session Thursday if he was concerned about Jones, who's been told to turn himself in to Las Vegas authorities to face two felony charges.

"We love him a whole lot, but we feel like he don't care about us right now," Young said.

Was the "oh my" in reference to the word slug in that URL?

If so, it's not warranted.  A slug is a news term for the subject of a story or keywords to categorize the story for transmission on newswires, it's not a pejorative term.  The "ap" after slug means this story was from the Associated Press.

If not, as you were!

I know, he has that "what'd I do??" look.
The weird one is the coach, his head, looks alien-ish.

Did you notice Pacman Jones....being questioned regarding 11 separate incidences.
edit for pacman

Yep, Richie Anderson (think he was a RB for the Jets and Cowboys), very alien-ish.

Pacman............... I mean, come on, dude. You have the world at your feet, and you act like a dipshit. And what about Ross Verba, writing fifty grand in bad checks? Shheeeeesh.

The thing with Pac Man is ridiculous....why give him a year suspension when he wasn't convicted of anything...and give Tank Johnson, who is a felon, a 6 game one lol

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Fred Evans was arrested early Saturday after he refused to leave a taxi on South Beach and then fought with officers, police said.
Police twice used a Taser gun on Evans, according to the arrest report, in attempts to subdue the 6-foot-4, 305-pound player who appeared in one game as a rookie last season with the Dolphins. Officers said they asked Evans to leave the taxi and, after he refused, they attempted to put him in handcuffs. He allegedly resisted, leading to the scuffle.

Evans was charged with multiple counts of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting with violence, along with single counts of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. One officer was allegedly bitten on the wrist and a female officer sustained scrapes on her left knee, police said.

Dolphins coach Cam Cameron, in a brief statement, said the team was aware of Evans' arrest.

"We will not condone this type of behavior," Cameron said. "I assure everyone it will be dealt with seriously."

Evans' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, didn't immediately return a call seeking comment.

Katy, I would be stunned if they fired Phillips after one year, unless Dallas goes 2-14 or something. But to have Cowher....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Do you think he'll coach again?

Yes, I think he will definitely coach again.  The only question is where.
