that is bs as the reply was to me and other folks had replied since mine.  i dont like sarcastic folks especially when they level their comments at me because that is never my intent.  folks think they can be cute as hell when they are being nothing more than rude.  And look at that comment - i was talking sports and she makes that kind of response - get real

minnetar

minnetar, your post was #1442, katy's was #1443; it was indeed just a case of hers happening to follow yours, just like this one is #1461, followed by......

.........#1462. It shows I'm "replying" to myself, which I'm not, it's just how the website system is designed. No one was trying to be rude. If my posting a reply to Katy one notch ahead of the one to you is the worst thing you have to deal with, I'd thank God for that. I told you, and tell you again, I appreciate your concern for me, and I mean that *soft smile*.

Oh sheesh, I should've said ~quick reply~
I was not responding to anything you specficially said minnetar, just goofing around, in general, it had nothing to do with your comments.
Level it looks like we are stirring up trouble without meaning too.

Speaking of trouble-stirring, Katy.....

IRVING, Texas (AP) - Terrell Owens was asked what he got out of his only season with Bill Parcells.
"Nothing, really," T.O. said Monday, the last day of the Dallas Cowboys' first minicamp since Parcells retired.

It's okay, dear lady. I want today to be a good day, and having you hot and bothered, where's the harm in that?

Do you know what those girls have to go through?
I watched some of the cheerleading series.  It's like boot camp.  One of the squads brings in a boot camp guy to run their camp.  The girls are subjected to all sorts of fitness and beauty regimes, (lose some weight, your hair needs to be a different color, wear more makeup, we're taking you to a hair colorist, etc), just to possibly make the squad they go through this stuff, they are in top physical condition.  And they have to try out every year, no special pass for the vets of the squad, they try out every year too.

And they're hot!

You're right, they do work hard at what they do, they deserve some kudos. Hell, the college cheerleaders really work their butts off, with all the lifts and stuff they do.

And it's a second job for these girls.  A second job and they do all of that work for it.

Yeah, but they probably do it for the exposure and to link it into modeling jobs.  Beats bartending topless at a gogo bar.

Exposure + cheerleaders =

Aileen, I got to think more than one or two of them wouldn't mind landing a pro athlete for a husband, as well. No, I'm not being cynical here........

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) -- Devin Hester is taking his game-breaking skills to the Chicago Bears' offense.

Hester set an NFL record last year for kick returns for touchdowns, and he started off the Super Bowl with a 92-yard kickoff runback for a touchdown. He rarely played on anything but special teams, though, and when he did, it was as a cornerback.

PITTSBURGHHines Ward sat in the corner of the Pittsburgh Steelers locker room Saturday afternoon and toed the line of blasphemy.

"We don't want to be predictable on offense," the wide receiver said following a mini-camp session. His eyes twinkled as he tugged at his camouflage t-shirt and twisted open a sports drink. Ward then paused and smiled. He said he felt younger, more rejuvenated. "See, for so long, it has been smashmouth – you know, run and get three yards. Then you have second-and-7 and you run again, get three more yards and set yourself up to convert a short third down. We've always had that mentality. Do I think we'll still have that mentality? Yes, but you will see it in different ways. And maybe we'll be getting six or seven yards on first down."
