The Packers are now 14-0. They have beaten da Bears 4 times this year. Now Dallas has to beat the Giants next week to keep NY out of Green Bay. Don't want a repeat of 2007. GO PACK

The Packers are 14 and 1...I keep trying to forget the Kansas game last week..

tazzygirl -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/26/2011 8:55:10 AM)

Its ok, servant. I wont mind reminding you. [;)]

That game will be in my mind until I die. It will be rught up there with the Eagles game ( 2006 I think ) when thw Packers defense couldn't stop the Eagles when they had them 4 down and 26.

BKSir -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/26/2011 4:03:35 PM)

Was a good Christmas weekend for me, that's for sure. Packers won big, Bills beat the Broncos and Dallas lost. Everything else was just icing on the cake. Tonight, hm. I'm really hoping Atl. wins. Not that I like Atl, but I really DISLIKE the Saints and want Brees to be kept to a non-issue.

Next week? Go Giants! I think... I'd rather see the Giants win, but still. I remember what happened a few years back when the Giants were this wild card team who came in and had no chance of... wait, what? They won the Superbowl!? O.o Yeah, that post season will stick with me for a while. Beating Dallas at home in the playoffs? Nope, will never happen. But it did! Well, they have to go to Lambeau and win in January. Pfft. Good luck with that! Well damn, lookit that.

The Bills... wow, who would have thought anything about them before the season? Hopefully they can surprise me again against the Pats. Take some of the wind out of their sails.

And another "Where did they come from?" team... Detroit. I have to admit, I'm still a little worried about them and what they can do against Green Bay. The Lions are a dangerous dangerous team. Been saying that since their first game this season.

Pittsburgh, don't you get cocky either (even though I want you to lose). Cleveland is no pushover this year either (did I really just say that? Shit! Are we on Bizarro Earth or something?)

KC. Chiefs... huh... Okay. Why not? KC, beat the crap out of the Broncos, please! Bust the ankles of that jerkoff Tebow. Although I know you won't. Interceptions and fumbles, sure, but unfortunately, nobody can get through the Denver O. Line.

49ers, wow, look at you kids this year! Good on ya. :) Keep that shit up and people may just start cheering for you again after like 10 years. ;) Seriously though, a meaningless game for San Fran really, but it should be exciting and fun anyway. Looking forward to this one against the Rams. And by the way, St. Louis, get your shit together guys, or we WILL sell you to Limbaugh after all. (If that doesn't scare some winning into someone, nothing will)

Happy Christmas and a beautiful New Year everyone!

BKSir -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/26/2011 6:55:05 PM)

Good lord! This Atl/N.O. game is disgusting! Has GOT to be some of the most utter BULLSHIT "officiating" I have seen in my life. At this point I want to see Atl. win, just to piss off the "officials". Then again, with the "christmas bonus" they are probably getting from the Saints, it probably won't hurt the zebra-men's hearts too much.

BKSir -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/26/2011 8:39:55 PM)

As much as I hate to do so, and was hoping Rodgers would have done it first, I have to say Congratulations to Drew Brees and his receivers for passing Marino's passing record.

No matter how shit-tastic the ref's have been, this is something that he and his team have done together, even without them. Congrats Drew, Congratulations New Orleans Saints. That is one impressive thing to see. :)

Dallas ain't going to beat the Giants this week. The G-Men are going to win,and any team in the tournament that is getting the type of exemplary play from the QB position that the Giants are getting,is poised to make a move in the playoffs....going deep and contending for a conference championship.
Who knows what happens on a cold Janurary day in Green Bay ?

DaddySatyr -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/27/2011 3:09:53 PM)

The Packers played Da Bears four times in one year? How does that happen?

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/27/2011 4:15:17 PM)

Just a guess, but 1 NFC championship gane in Jan.2011,one preseason game late summer of 2011....and their 2 regularly scheduled tilts during the 2011 regular season [:)]

DaddySatyr -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/27/2011 4:37:12 PM)

Gotcha. My bad. I mistook "This year" for "this season". I'm a dunderhead, sometimes.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

No problem...I'm a bit of a sports geek, and figuring out arcane shit like this is childs play.....lol.

servantforuse -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/28/2011 5:46:21 AM)

The Packers also knocked da Bears out of the playoffs 2 times in 2011. Once last January and once again on Christmas. GO PACK

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/28/2011 6:40:38 AM)

WellI'm not sure the Pack can take total credit for denying the Bears a playoff berth servant, sure the loss to the Pack eliminated Da'Bears....but there playoff fate was punched when Cutler and their RB( Forte?,having a senior moment here )went down.

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (1/1/2012 3:52:11 PM)

servantforuse -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (1/1/2012 7:10:22 PM)

The 15 and 1 Packers beat the Lions with #12, #21, #52 and most of their other starters not playing..GO PACK

DarkSteven -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (1/1/2012 8:13:11 PM)

[:'(]

The Broncos played their last three games like a middle school team.

They did not deserve to win the division.  They won it solely because nobody else deserved it either.
