If I have it right LSU won,the Bills lost.....and the J-E-T-S beat Washington.
Meanwhile the Giants played better in losing than most of the teams that won today, yes it is still a loss...but they gave the undefeated Packers all they could handle...lost by the same score that they lost to the unbeaten Patriots...the year they won the Super Bowl by hanging the first loss on NE.
LUV Ya Too Dovie....but you root for the wrong teams.....LOL.

It was ugly but the game is done
and the PACKERS are still number ONE!!

GO PACK GO!!

BitaTruble -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/4/2011 5:01:54 PM)

9ERS CLINCH their division.. The Pack is STILL undefeated and I'm first seed in my fantasy football league for the playoffs. 'Twas a good day in football. :D

BKSir -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/11/2011 4:15:01 PM)

I WAS enjoying the Packer's game, but jeziz, put Rodgers back in. Let's just freakin run up the score on them. As opposed to giving up stupid shit like safetys...

And I don't want to hear any "unsportsmanlike" crap either. It's the raiders. Like they wouldn't try to run it up to 77-0 if they had the chance? That's why they have a scoreboard. It DOES matter whether you win or lose, and it does matter by how much.

(see, I can be bloodthirsty when I want to be) ;)

I would pull him just to protect from an accidental injury.

A valid point there, one I can understand and even agree with... except that I'm a proponent of going back to true iron man football. :)

EDIT: To add. Hell, even GB's DEFENSE was doing awesome today (until the last 20 min)... That's still 40 minutes better than we've gotten all year long... combined.

servantforuse -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/11/2011 4:50:31 PM)

Tazzy is right. Don't risk an unesessary injury for no reason. Packers improve to 13-0 and have now won 19 straight games..Kansas Chiefs host the Packers next Sunday, then it's the Bears and Lions coming to Lambeau to end the regular season..GO PACK

I know... I'm actually worried about the Lions still. They are very very dangerous this year. Especially Suh... you know, with the stomping on people and all.

servantforuse -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/11/2011 5:24:54 PM)

BkSir, It will be ok. It is cold in Green Bay on Jan. 1st..

BKSir -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/11/2011 8:40:45 PM)

So, this NY Giants game... Been pretty damned interesting the whole way through. I'm not sure what to think. I mean, I want to cheer for NY, I like NY and HATE Dallas. But, strategically, for Green Bay, it would be better for NY to lose. I just can't bring myself to cheer for Dallas, no matter what I do. Just the thought makes my stomach feel queezy.

Game wise though, been an awesome game so far. Last 2 minutes, could still go either way easily. :)

hausboy -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/11/2011 8:56:15 PM)

Two words:

GO RAVENS!

MasterG2kTR -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/11/2011 9:07:47 PM)

The Raiders visiting the field called Lambeau
Rodgers warms up his gun

The Packers were more than ready to go
The game in Green Bay is done

The Green and Gold are 13 & 0 (oh)
The fans shout "the Pack are still number 1"

GO PACK GO!!

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/12/2011 11:13:51 AM)

Eli Manning is definitely an elite NFL qb,as he asserted he was this summer. The "lesser" Manning tied his older brother and a guy named Unitas(in a 12 game season to boot) by throwing his 14th 4th quater td pass last night...something tells me Eli will have that record all alone when all is said and done.

tazzygirl -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/12/2011 11:14:50 AM)

Heisman trophy winner announced. Where do you think he will go?

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/12/2011 11:19:08 AM)

Wherever he goes it will be after the Colts draft Luck.
Charlie Ward once won a Heishman...and he wasn't a bad player ....for the NY Knicks, now I am not saying that Griffin wont be an NFL qb just that Luck will go first and that the Heishman does not always translate to a golden professional career.

tazzygirl -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/12/2011 11:23:59 AM)

I listened to an interview with him this morning. Wants to go to law school. Had his acl ripped so he knows the inherent risks. Even he admitted he may not go into the draft right away.

You spent more effort in that poem than the Raiders spent on the game.

slvemike4u -> RE: NFL Sob or Jump for Joy (12/12/2011 12:58:32 PM)

There was effort put into that poem, really ?

there was effort in that game?  man, the Raiders looked terrible.  I enjoyed that very much.

Chicago, fighting to stay in the playoff hunt, just got the kind of distraction that knocks a team for a loop: http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/12/16/the-reads-you-need-could-nfl-nice-guy-hurd-be-drug-kingpin/?hpt=hp_c1
