packers have a weak secondary, it's no surprise that newton puts up big numbers against weak secondaries. Wait till he plays a contain defense and watch him get destroyed. You can ride that fantasy high from last years college season all you want, proof is coming. I'm surprised he wasn't picked off more by the packers, nothing like a .72 passer rating. You know your offensive is fucked when the QB leads the TEAM in rushing with only 71 yards in two games. Packers O seems to be struggling, but credit to Carolina's D for holding those turnovers to field goals, otherwise this game was a total blowout. Austin carried Dallas' offense with some guts by Romo. While Ware dominated the box and contained the screen. I am surprised honestly that Dallas dug themselves out of that 14 point deficit in the first half and rallied behind 10 to win it in OT. I'm even more surprised that a defense that did a great job against the jets last week struggled so openly in the secondary this week against a fairly weak passing offense. It was obvious watching smith play that he still hasn't learned to read defenses and kept getting boxed in. Only week two, but I suspect both Dallas and SF are in for long disapointing seasons. The NE game was just another testament to how great Bellicheck runs his team. Discipline and perfect execution helped Brady and the Pats eek out another machine shop victory. As usual, the colts are nothing without manning, and it was just plain apparent today in thier loss. Credit to the Browns for playing hard nose football, but the colts just aren't the same team without Manning, and it has shown the last two weeks. If they don't get manning back by week 4 the Colts may not see the playoffs, something the Colts seemed to pride themselves on for 13 seasons. The Arizona Washington game was a real nail biter, I didn't get to see any of this one so I'll just have to catch sportscenter later and find out the specifics. I did however get to see the Buffalo Oakland game, and that was truely an exciting game. What appeared to be a total blow out in the first half, turned into a barn burning nail biter finish. A costly turn over by the usually reliable McFadden may have been the deal breaker here. Fitzpatrick had some amazing throws this game. Campbell gave them a chance to win it on the hail mary but it just wasn't meant to be. Great game.
