STEELERS!

Once they get their act together. They have the team to go all the way.

LOL... coming from someone who lives in Steeler country... thats not the belief here this year!

They certainly shut it out today.

Against a team that was 7 and 9 last year.

That should have shut them out.

No news there.

It is ridiculously early...but what the fuck is going on in Carolina.....The Panthers have a 10-0lead over the Pack, and are driving....first and goal at the 2.

Newton is putting up some pretty impressive yardage so far. 718 yards in his first two NFL games... a new record. First year.... definitely one to watch.

I hold out no hopes for my team... yes.. I am a Panther fan!.. to win. But he is making them look respectable.

packers have a weak secondary, it's no surprise that newton puts up big numbers against weak secondaries. Wait till he plays a contain defense and watch him get destroyed. You can ride that fantasy high from last years college season all you want, proof is coming. I'm surprised he wasn't picked off more by the packers, nothing like a .72 passer rating. You know your offensive is fucked when the QB leads the TEAM in rushing with only 71 yards in two games. Packers O seems to be struggling, but credit to Carolina's D for holding those turnovers to field goals, otherwise this game was a total blowout.

Austin carried Dallas' offense with some guts by Romo. While Ware dominated the box and contained the screen. I am surprised honestly that Dallas dug themselves out of that 14 point deficit in the first half and rallied behind 10 to win it in OT. I'm even more surprised that a defense that did a great job against the jets last week struggled so openly in the secondary this week against a fairly weak passing offense. It was obvious watching smith play that he still hasn't learned to read defenses and kept getting boxed in. Only week two, but I suspect both Dallas and SF are in for long disapointing seasons.

The NE game was just another testament to how great Bellicheck runs his team. Discipline and perfect execution helped Brady and the Pats eek out another machine shop victory.

As usual, the colts are nothing without manning, and it was just plain apparent today in thier loss. Credit to the Browns for playing hard nose football, but the colts just aren't the same team without Manning, and it has shown the last two weeks. If they don't get manning back by week 4 the Colts may not see the playoffs, something the Colts seemed to pride themselves on for 13 seasons.

The Arizona Washington game was a real nail biter, I didn't get to see any of this one so I'll just have to catch sportscenter later and find out the specifics. I did however get to see the Buffalo Oakland game, and that was truely an exciting game. What appeared to be a total blow out in the first half, turned into a barn burning nail biter finish. A costly turn over by the usually reliable McFadden may have been the deal breaker here. Fitzpatrick had some amazing throws this game. Campbell gave them a chance to win it on the hail mary but it just wasn't meant to be. Great game.

True, however in recent years the Steelers have had a disturbing tendency to play down to the level of their opponents, squeaking past or even losing to teams they should hammer. So it was refreshing to watch the shutout, especially when Seattle was trying for points late in the game.

Barring injury, Cam looks to have ROOKIE OF THE YEAR locked up.

The game I'm waiting to see is JETS v. PATRIOTS.

Good luck with that.....Ryan has Bellichecks number....and the Jet D has a habit of smacking the shit out of Brady.
Hell truth be told the Jets approached last years playoff game against the Pats as if it was their own personal Super Bowl.....and seemed to suffer for it in the first half against the Steelers....by the time they woke up( they smacked the Steelers around in the second half) there just wasn't enough time left.

Right but lets not forget the 45-3 smackdown in Gillette.

Never underestimate The Hoodie

Belichick is the Bond villain evil genius of the NFL,

However occasionally he achieves domination.
And his team is always a contender, just need to take the playoffs more seriously.

Yeah, cause that's the issue...come playoff time they all start to relax
Sorry pal,but it is asking way too much for anyone who knows anything about football to accept your reading of the situation.

Missing the playoffs once in a decade that they dominated is credibility enough,
Losing a Super Bowl due to divine intervention sucks though.

What the fuck are you blathering about now.Produce some evidence that it was "divine intervention" that led to the Pats getting beat by the Giants.
You are a putz if you are going to blame some god like entity due to your team losing a fucking football game. The ball takes funny bounces, any given Sunday and all that shit....add to that that the NY defense bet the snot out of Brady that night and you have your answer.
Divine intervention my ass......what a putz.

For lack of a better place to post this.....The YANKEES clinch the AL east.16 playoff appearances in the last 17 years, excellence wears pinstripes.
To paraphrase the great Joe DiMaggio...thank god I was born a Yankee fan

Why does Jake Cutler say the things he does?
In light of last seasons questionable( in some quarters) playoff game injury.....Cutler now comes out and speculates on how long he can take the pounding he is taking in Chicago .This is akin to calling out your own team....after they all had your back last year....you now throw them under the bus?
This was a mistake Jake.
