Me: GAAAAHHHKKK -simultanious massive heart attack and stroke-

Friends: Well... at least he died happy

LaM must have been watching with his rabbit's foot, shooting Karma out to OAK as well.

Looks like MIA has been eliminated from playoff contention.

Wouldn't it be something if CLE back-assed its way into a QB with Colt McCoy?

Playoff teams look to be: NE, NYJ, BAL, PITT, IND, & ???SD-OAK-KC??

I'll swap 'em for the Broncos right now.

YSG -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/8/2010 3:15:00 AM)

what? Even with God's favorite son, the almighty Tim Tebow as a backup QB? How could you say such a thing, DarkSteven? [8D]

Brett Favre is the most overrated player in the history of football. Any position, any league, any level.

Nah. Favre is a bit overrated, true but not as much as either of the Manning brothers, for example.

YSG -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/8/2010 7:29:40 AM)

Farve just doesnt have it in him anymore. He's too old, he's taken too much abuse over the years. I say its time for him to retire before he pisses away his future hall of famer status

Lordandmaster -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/8/2010 11:43:47 AM)

Lam was on an airplane, actually--the Jets were losing 7-0 when I got on, and 20-10 when I got off.  They pulled it out during the drive home, and they were damned  lucky.  The Jets are really good at making 2-6 teams look competitive, and I'm not feeling good about next week's game at Cleveland.

Miami would be a playoff team in some of these other divisions.

I don't understand why the so-called experts keep doubting Colt McCoy.  What better options do the Browns have?  Let the kid play and see what happens.  Really, what do they have to lose?  Like Skip fucking Bayless has been right so many other times about NFL quarterbacks...

SD should win the AFC West.

And to whoever said Peyton Manning is more overrated than Brett Favre: You have GOT to be kidding.  Peyton Manning is somewhere around the third-best QB ever to play the game.  (I'd put him behind Montana and Young, but maybe that's it.)  Favre isn't even in the top 25.

Favre just had the best game of his career, amazing.

Bye Wade.

If given a choice, I'd prefer it was me gittin' the whuppin'!!!!
I'm sure ol' Rexie is giving the Jets a helluva ~ahem~ pep talk this week.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/8/2010 3:10:58 PM)

Why are the talking about Welker kicking on PTI?  Did he kick yesterday?  Runs to google..

flcouple2009 -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/8/2010 3:11:05 PM)

Pointless, we now put the red headed idiot in charge.  Things just got worse in Dallas.

KatyLied -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/8/2010 3:15:01 PM)

My opinion is that Dallas has a bigger problem than head coach, ownership is too meddling, too involved, too micro managerial.  Huge issues there.  Definitely unable to play up to its potential.

flcouple2009 -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/8/2010 3:26:40 PM)

And one of those problem is now the head coach.

Lordandmaster -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (11/9/2010 12:16:09 AM)

It was about the only thing that went right for New England yesterday.

I swear, one day one of these position players is going to pull a hamstring trying to kick an extra point.  Then they'll be talking about THAT on PTI.
