Opinion piece, especially for Level!

That reads like one of Hunk's conspiracy pieces.  Pittsburgh is stuck with him, unless Al Davis wakes up long enough to make a deal.

> Breaking CNN News: Plaxico Burress accidently shoots Santonio Holmes in the
leg at a night club causing Mr. Holmes to throw a drink in Ben
Roethlisberger's face which caused Mr. Roethlisberger to accidentally grope
the nearest waitress. The sound of the shot startled Jeff Reed, causing him
to accidentally smash the men's room towel dispenser, startling Matt Spaeth
who then lost control of his bladder in public

That makes me think of the line from Major league when Rick Vaughn is asked what league he played in last year and his response was "California Penal".

lol.. extremely modest.. and cute too!

with each concussion, there is damage to the brain... irreversible damage. Doesnt the NFL have a limit on how many before that start talking forced retirement?

Not that I know of...which is giving the league both a public relations black eye and is a possible law suit concern. They have addressed the issue of reinserting a player into the game after he has had his bell rung.I'm not positive in their is a hard and fast rule prohibiting that or if...and this is the one I;m leaning towards is it has to be medically clear...ie: It is no longer a coachingg decision but a strictly medical decision.
Which in itself is a debateble area as the Doctor is an employee of the team.....and not the actual patient involved.

There are a few teams around the league with major problems at QB, I can think of one specifically that enjoys taking castoffs of any caliber.  Ben has issues, but he also has value as a franchise QB, there are not a ton of them out there.

Yep. A potential suitor could bargain down the price based on Ben's recent behavior and legal woes. If Rooney trades him to another team that might be a wake up call to straighten up and fly right. Or not. If he cleans up his act the public will forgive and forget just as many have concerning Michael Vick. No matter where he ends up he must make some serious changes in his personal life but he certainly isn't washed up in the NFL although I doubt we'll see him take another snap in a Steeler uniform.

I don't think Jerry would do it, but wouldn't put it past him. I imagine it's bugging him, thinking of how much talent Dallas has right now, and if this window closes, we might not be in sniffing distance of the SB again for several years.

Week 17 this year to be only divisional games to discourage teams from benching starters.

And women's restroom sex.  And not being able to handle alcohol.  And ugly mullets.

Remember when the Steelers had class....

Makes me wonder if they have an idea of what the suspension is going to be.  Do they make that trade if the suspension is only going to be 2 to 4 games?

You need to read up on the owners. The Rooneys are a class act, and expect the team to maintain a moderate amount of decorum. Pittsburgh is a conservative town. Ben has caused quite a stir here. Listening to people leads me to think they arent exactly thrilled with Ben hanging around.
