Did You all see the field in London? horrible. funny tho :P

Indeed it is horrible to see the hallowed ground of Wembley given over to an organised brawl in which a ball of sorts allegedly plays a part. I just cant see how its funny though.

Anyway, the weekly roundup of real football is over, and the brawl is just starting on the TV now. I'm going to watch it, and wonder....

~fr~
I like muddy football.  Those jerseys looked great with mud splattered all over them.

Where's everyone?  I'm watching the game and doing laundry.  And avoiding the trick-or-treaters.  Unfortunately some of them are too stupid to realize that my porch light is "off"; signifying that I am not going to answer the door while they intrude on the Steelers.  Dumb kids!   Dumber parents! [8D]

"Hey, Kyle....The old whore's lights are off...Guess she's not giving out blow jobs this year."

Sunday has lost all meaning...Last week a Pack bye and this week....Going to Denver on Monday.

Katies home, the lights are off....As of this moment she is now "under consideration" ...Proudly wearing my "collar of protection."  Next week we will be attending a munch.

Awesome!  Can I be the sub who charges everyone $1.00 to get a peek at her boobies.  I wanna be the classiest chick at the munch!

Aww, Katy. I was at a football party all day. What's up with trick or treaters before Halloween ?
And I thank goodness, no little ghosties and goblins come to my door. For some reason they just don't come to this condo complex.

They always do it Sunday afternoon here.  Anyway, I had three door bell rings which I happily ignored.  W00T we won today!

MrrPete -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (10/28/2007 6:42:28 PM)

I don't know what all the commotion about the field at Wembly is about.

I've seen a lot worse here in the states. Games so muddy you couldn't read anyone's
number except the Quarterback or a new player in the game.

MrrPete -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (10/28/2007 6:51:09 PM)

Don't look now but the Browns have as many wins as last season with 9 games to go.
The Rams gave us a scare in the first quarter but we won in the end.

I'm feeling better about the rest of the season now. The Browns did a better job
against the Pats than the Redskins. We're getting better every week.

Now all we have to do is beat the Steelers to make up that first week fiasco.

We're finally over the 500 mark and I expect to finish that way

kcslaveboy -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (10/28/2007 6:53:39 PM)

All I know is that the Chiefs are in 1st place

LadyEllen -> RE: NFL Sob (or Brag) Thread (10/29/2007 3:53:20 AM)

OK. Last night, I watched the game in London.

I have to say it was just as baffling as usual, far too much stop/start - but the best illustration of the game I've seen so far. There were even some good bits towards the end when the Dolphins were making a come back.

But I'm sorry. I still dont get it.

It was a bad game. Even for a a football fan it stunk. Too bad they didn't have the upcoming Patriots vs. Colts game play in London. That will be a good game.

Go Broncos.

Romo cashes in on $67M deal with Cowboys
By JAIME ARON, AP Sports Writer 24 minutes ago

Tony Romo didn't have to wait until the offseason to get his big payday from the Dallas Cowboys after all. Romo has agreed to a six-year, $67 million deal that will be announced Tuesday, according to a person familiar with the deal who requested anonymity because the contact has not been announced.

The contract, which will become effective this week and provides salary cap relief for Dallas, includes $30 million in guaranteed money.
