I VERY much would like to suggest the ability for people to put in their profile "Collared" as an on/off check. So we can do searchs that exclude those who have collars. How do I go about suggesting this?

Add to it a check off box for "contacted this person before and they're not interested' That would alleviate repeat emails from people (who i swear at times just send out the same email repeatedly in bulk!)

Good ideas from the both of you. It's hard to tell sometimes if you've wrtten to someone, if their profile is vague. MAybe an "Sent an email," click, so you don't have to come back if they never reply, you just know you've written.

Put it in the same suggestion box for a "marital status" selection.

The "Personal notes about this user (visible only to you):" box could be utilized for this.

Go to the other side and scroll to the bottom. Click on the 'support' button, then when the box opens, click on 'type of request' then scroll to 'feature suggestions' and leave your message in the box.'

that works & the hide user feature is a good way to avoid profiles you don't care to see anymore

Ummm, is reading the profile still an option?  How about checking the actively seeking section and reading their choices???

Not so much. Some of them put taken on the bottom. Or in huge annoying letter that require you to scroll down a good bit. I don't want to read that far if there is no chance of interacting with the person.

Some of them state they are here for friends and discussions, or is that not the type of interaction you mean?  I'm not trying to be rude, but everyone has the right to be as succinct or not, as they choose on their profile.  They are describing themselves in their profile, as they wish to characterize themselves.  They are telling you what they feel is important about them in the order of importance to them, and possibly they think that their collared status is not the most important aspect of their personalities.  Again, check out the "actively looking for" portion of their profiles, that should cut down at least a little bit on your reading.  As Bita said, you can always email support.  Personally, I think collarme provides a wonderful service to the community, especially with NO membership fees, but, I have never looked at it as a dating site, so that may be why I feel as I do.  This is what is so wonderful about this site in my opinion, is the variety of personalities and opinions on here.

edited for a typo

Go to Support.

And, I think that's a good idea.

I was also thinking they should not only have s/s couples or D/D couples, but D/s couple profiles.
That'd be cool.

Sheesh, want some cheese with that whine?
I would think you would read the entire profile before deciding to contact somebody with a view to establishing any sort of relationship.
This attitude of not being bothered to actually read a profile is exactly why we have so many "why do they keep emailing me when I'm taken" threads. If I can't be bothered to read my way all the way through a profile, then I obviously have little or no interest in what the person has to say, or how they see themselves, or what they are seeking...a pretty flimsy basis for a relationship don't you think?

Yes it would be cool, that is one of the few suggestions I have seen here for alterations to the profiles that I think is long overdue and very VERY worthwhile.

Geez...I swear I think some people just go to the boards just so they can be nasty...more often than not these people miss the whole point of the thread and go off on some tangent that has nothing to do with the original idea or question....if you don't agree with someone there are ways to say so without putting them down.

Been asking for that for ages.

It's funny, but when I read profiles, I can usually pick the married one's out pretty good. Not always, but usually. There is always something in their profile that gives it away.
