My head is throbbing. Anyone want to tell me what a migraine feels like? I've never had one before but this shit hurts so bad I could cry.

Migraines... usually on one side of the head, but can be both... light and sound sensitive... making it much worse... nausea is usually associated with them but not always... the descriptions of the type of pain varies from stabbing, to a tightening band that feels like it is crushing, to feels like the head is going to explode, to feels like something is trying to claw its way out, each person is different in their actual description of the type of pain. Level of pain on a scale of zero to ten is usually an eight, meaning that you barely can function, that the pain is consuming all your thoughts.. now.. I am describing a migraine right now because I have had them most of my life...

It must just be a really bad headache then.. no light/sound sensitivity, and the whole thing is just a big, throbbing hurt. I'd say the pain level is probably a seven. I tried lying down in the dark (had heard that helps) but that just made me focus more on the ouchiness. I had some more aspirin and some caffeinated soda, and it seems to be receeding a bit. If you have to deal with that all the time hun.. well hugs I'm very very sorry...

Yes, I have had to go to ER twice for shots of pain killers they were so intense.. so yes.. but that is on top of the fact that I have had one constant headache due to an auto accident for 20+ years... Yes, one, non-stop headache for 20 years.

Now Ive shattered one of the new wineglasses I got for my birthday and am bleeding profusely from a cut in my leg. Dammit! Between cold, headaches, and injuries I'm just not gonna make it through this week alive!!
