Fawn, good article! Comming from an Irish Catholic family in Boston with a father who was a ww2 combat veteran and Firefighter we were not unfamiliar with his big black belt.

Gee...aren't the majority of CEOs 'older' people? I'd say MOST 'older' people got spanked...at the very least. Some of us also got belts & switches (or worse). It's a fairly new idea (in the US) not to spank your kids... beverly

I read that article as well and my thought was exactly the same, aren't most CEO's old enough when spanking was pretty much the standard punishment? I am just thinking of a bunch of managers who keep getting passed over for promotions and them going to their parentes and yelling at them "Because you never spanked me is the reason I am not being promoted. I hate you!"
