I've seen a number of threads about morons writing to subs with commands right off and what not, "Hello sub! I command you to XYZ!" Send me nude pics! Move to this state and blow me! Do the thing you say you won't do in the profile I didn't bother to read!"

On the other hand, I reflect that this might just work for them. Maybe there is a class of sub I don't know about that eats this up. IS there?

I've sent out a number of letters, and like everyone else I get some responces and some ignored, but I'm usually 'nice' in my opening hellos, since whoever it is hasn't actually submitted to me. I've never been submitted to before a hello. (Well, there was that one time, but she loved my hair... and that's not important right now. )

Now, this is a really silly theory, but it's possible. Some subs want rude, commanding opening letters. What does the group think?

Rude never worked for me when I was looking. Rude got your blocked. I am sure there are some that confuse rudeness with beign assertive. Those are the ones that get together with these rude people and make messes of their lives.

I'm always polite and tell them about myself and what it's like here in this area and what I like to do.
I can't imagine "ordering" a stranger on the internet around and demanding to be called "Sir!"

I think that for every catagory of group you can think of, someone is in it, so, yes, there are going to be plenty of people who will respond to rude, in your face, commanding opening emails.

I know, personally, I will respond to such emails though, generally, not in the way the sender would have envisioned. [8D]

It's hard to comprehend someone who wants to forfeit all their rights, to have no limits, to be your total sex slave, to be molded into perfection, to be treated like an object or property, to be used and abused by the cruelest sadistic dominant possible, to live for catering to their every whim... only to be offended by receiving a message not kissing their ass.  [:D]

My opinion is this... if you find one that will actually do that.. you might want to keep a very short leash on her because goodness knows how many people you are going to have to be fighting off to keep her from "obeying" every person who comes along and says hello to her...but hey.. if thats your thing.. go for it~

I don't know about how many get pissy over being bitchy in the first letter... but I have to admit that for the most part when I reply showing that I don't expect them to bow down to me right away I rarely, if ever get a response. But.... if I reply (yes, they contacted me first) and am a total bitch... you know? Having one of my moods? Well, I couldn't shake them off with a stick. The more polite I am the further and faster they seem to run... but get down right shitty with them and there seems to be an instant reply. I don't get it... I never will. I've pretty much given up on polite responses.

My Daddy told me about a friend of his when he was young and when then would go out on the town together looking for chicks. This friend would go up to women and ask them if they wanted to fuck. Of course if only one out of 20 said "yes" it was worth it to this guy... and there was always someone that would say yes...

The moral of the story, you can find anyone willing to do anything if you ask enough of them

Popeye... this is all in good. And the type of e-mails I enjoy. But do you tell them about "what I like to do." in the first e-mail as far as sexually? Or are you refering to your likes and dislikes of life in gerneral... hobbies.. etc...?

I not only dislike the rude e-mails that either get me to block or respond back in the same manner...and then blocked... depending on my mood and the e-mail...lol.... but I also dislike someone telling me their sexual preferences right from the start as well. I personally like to get to know someone for whom they really are before the sex... kink... etc.... gets pulled in.

LOL !  I have had mixed results.  I try to be polite with subs because I figure that they dont know me and I am not there master however I find that being polite turns a lot of them away.  The way I see it is that I feel much more comfortable when submission is given (of course) I dont like the idea of having to fight for or prove dominance with someone I dont know because basically I dont care. I have put a few in there place of course but these are usually the subs that kind of pick and pick away to see if they can find something that bothers me which I have no patience for.  It seems like a lot of the subs are more doms then subs that look for arguments.  I cant imagine who would want a sub that they would have to punish every day.. who has the energy...LOL
