I am new to this site and I am looking for someone who enjoys writing. Whether it's poetry or a novel. Something that's funny, satirical, sarcastic or just very deep. Here's hoping I don't walk for nothing
While walking down the shadowed path
Courage may become your guide,
But when it fails the shadow's laugh
And trades your fear for pride.
If hiking up a mountain road
Wisdom is your scout,
It is a boulder's life that may unload
And pave your way with doubt.
When springing through sunlit fields
Youth quickens every step,
Be it known this only yields
You more quickly unto death.
If all else fails and may, perchance
Use your heart to soar above it all,
But beware when demons dance
For when it breaks you must fall.
