Just on BBC news; a terrorist attack on the US Embassy in Damascus was foiled today by the Syrian guards outside the compound.

What does this say about the axis of evil?

Good for the Syrians for stopping them.    Nice job.

I should have wondered it either indicates that the Syrians are not as "in bed" with AQ as we are told to believe...... or that they may have done this to cast suspicion on them away, or really conspiratorially, that they engineered the whole situation so that they could look like the good guys?

I do not think you can make an opinion on such based upon such a small incident.  In My eyes the Syrian patrol was just doing their job.  They were hired to protect, they did it admirably and should be commended for a job well done.  I think reading anything more into it might be a bit of a mistake.  I am quite sure the United States would do the same thing for a Palestinian or North Korean embassy in the US.

Actually ken, that is exactly how opinions are formed, perhaps what you meant to say is you cannot draw a conclusion.  Just like I can form an opinion of you based on how you draw conclusions or mistake forming an opinion for drawing a conclusion.

That is fair and reasonable enough.  I ammend that to say that I do not think you can make a conclusion.

Again, Ken, if you are going to try and use the English language, please learn to do so accurately.   I can of course make conclusions about things so if you "think" I can't, you might want to examine your ability to think.

*sigh* You know what I meant.  We can make the ammendment that you suggest however in case the real target audience mistakes My words as well.  I mean, it is great that you are taking time out of your busy Republican and Christian bashing schedule and all, and I applaud you for that, but maybe rather than nitpick at semantics you can find something constructive to do.

I do applaud you, however, on a very important first step.   Baby steps...baby steps.
