MistressLorelei -> RE: How many dommes actually believe this female supremacy stuff? (9/11/2006 9:46:40 PM)

I believe in human equality for both genders, and any in between. Female Supremacy is not about man hating, or the torture of the male gender. I believe all people should have equal rights within society. No double standards. I also believe that I am entitled to find more power in the female gender, and to think that a female is the best to lead a relationship... if someone else feels differently, they can act accordingly in their relationships, and I will support them in their choices. If I think that a woman doctor is more thorough, nurturing, and capable than a male doctor, and I wish to give her my business... that's my right, and as long as I am not thinking that male doctors should be paid less in society for the same job, or should not be granted the same rights as the women doctors... it's not about equality, it's about preference. Male doms prefer a submissive female, that's not me. I wouldn't think it's disrespectful for them to think submissive women are the only one's worthy of a relationship with them, but would understand how their lifestyle operates. I am not a man-hater at all.... I think men are wonderful, just not at the head of a relationship. I have had a harsh, intense and torturous relationship with a submissive I cared about a lot... and I had a sweet and romantic relationship with a submissive male I also cared a great deal about. There was no hate involved, and if one of them had been fired or not promoted in their job for being male, I would have had a problem. In my opinion, women are more likely to present themselves in ways that command an extra helping of respect, and it's difficult not to give it to them. It's much more "appropriate" for a male to belch in public, to hoot and hollar as the opposite sex walks by, to engage in a bar brawl, to arrange their anatomy in public, etc. In most cases female supremacy is harmless, and does not involve social consequences... many Doms/Dommes and their submissives could be said to have Dom/Domme supremacy, bikers think they are living right, etc., yet so many people have a problem with female supremacy, likely because it's a woman thing. It's a lifestyle choice, so what.
