Have a good trip!! (next time do it on a bike...)

I take one week off every year and go for a good putt. This years trip was from my shack in Mt. and down thru Id,Ut,Az,Nm,Co and back home 2800+mi...6 National Parks...8days...100+ photos taken.... on my old '54 rigid.

Next years trip....???? Not sure yet but it gives me something to look forward to all winter long.......
Rode a hardtail out one time(to Sturgis)....not sure I wanna do that again....rather say been there, done that, have the shirt..lmao. Righteous doing your trip on a pan though...high fives for that. (we won't ask how many quarts of oil..lol)

Thanks.... Hell rigids aren't bad. Roads are soooo much better now than they were 25yrs ago. (don't tell anyone..bike is titled as '54HD but it's my bastard stepchild abortion mutt of a bike. Not much '54 left on it except frame, rear brake, wheel......SS93" genie shovel....it's got a 4 speed in it so it still leaks...lol.  I did Sturgis in '03 and rode my '83 out there which is also rigid. Never again....too many people...lol  I sent some pics to Twice of the bike so you probably saw it....... Take care and ride safe!

I go on the Bike now. Suz DL650.
Last trip was from Calgary to the west coast of Vancouver Island, with a zigzag through the Okanogan. This was to finsish off the coast to coast Canada trip that was started the previous summer. Calgary to PEI and back in 2 1/2 weeks.

But I have to get to NFLD someday on the bike ( been there by car ). And next summer is Inuvik. I want to be there for the midnight sun. An Arctic circle pic of Me and the Suz.

My most interesting road trip was Vancouver to LA and back at age 16 with no cash.......only light criminal charges, all gone now.

Sorry, but everytime I see this thread title, it makes me think of the song.  And I do like that song.

Sure is! It was a nice ride with most of it done at night with plenty of trucks for company.
On the way out there was a fullish moon and it was pretty going through the Smokey Mountains National Park with the moon shining off the mountains.
Tennessee and Missouri were the two states that I spent the most time driving through.
