MistressKittyKat, welcome!  You may find that it is easy to make friends here, especially if you post very often in the forums.  This is a good place, although as a female dominant you might find you get a lot of email which is less attentive or less courteous than is right - there is a certain amount of chaff which needs to be sifted through. Still, all in all, its one of the better places on the net and I think you will enjoy your time here.
