Gosh why does the thought of these always freak me out? But anyway then I do get how the knive n fireplay works..but I don't really get how needleplay works?[sm=idea.gif]I doubt it's similar to those japanese(?) needle..treatments for all kind of things[&:] And if you do like those.. what are the things about these plays that excite you?

I love to watch the moment a sub figures out that I have a knife at his/her throat. They literally stop breathing for a second or two. It's delicious.

i adore needle play and sutures. i like the fact that to me the amount of pain is way less than the amount of endorphins released. i like the pretty designs that can be made with needles. i like having pretties like bows, flowers or butterflies sewn on my body. Last but not least i loved having letters spelling out His name sewn on my butt. hmm guess i pretty much like everything about it lil_joy

A quick reply about needle play. I still am slightly squicked by needles, but I found out during the weekend needle play is very therapeutic for me. Although I also found out, needle play is not a good idea at 4 am when my yelping can wake someone up. We only got through 4 before I said I couldn't do it because the fear of waking up the others who stayed the night at the play party I was at. Admittedly, he was also going slow and deep with the 21 guages he had, but I am quite a bit of a masochist, so the amount of pain associated with them was no issue. However, today I went to the doctor, who had to do some blood work on me. I was able to watch the process without fear for the first time in my life, and I know I have Kane and his needles from Sunday morning to thank for that.

I do stop breathing. There is this fear that breathing will cause my body to move, and that adds to the threat of the knife going IN. It is truly fantastic!

#1 needles actually penetrate the body, they break the skin and thus open your insides to an outside influence, while a cane or whip may feel like it's going into your body a needle actually is. It seeems like a little thing when you look at it now but really it is a consideration that effects many folks much more than they expect. #2 Needles are capable of being very precise in where they administer pain, go deep for pain, go medium for more painfull and go shallow for even more pain, (think about where the majority of the nerve endings are) #3 There is something about the idea of blood that has been magical for thousands of years. The communion, vodoo, witchcraft of many sorts, sacrifices of live animals BLOOD is the common theme, and the fact that they are letting some of your litteral life out of your skin does not go un noticed sub conciously. Just a few reasons Needles are such a rush for so many people

I know very little of fire play, although would love to learn and experiance more of it, but knife play. To me it's the adrenaline rush I get from the fear, it makes my blood rush, heart beat faster, yea, the whole fear factor of it. The first time I did knife play I was terrified, but knew Master (at the time) knew what He was doing, and I did beg to try it, now, I can't get enough of it, but sadly know no one in my area who does it, or that I trust enough to do it. I also think it is how the knife play is done. Master used several, each was shown to me before hand, I held them, tested the sharpensss of each, some He would warm, or cool for the varied sensations, but I think what really makes it different, or special, is the trust. You know whom ever is doing it knows what they are doing, and you trust them to not harm you while doing it. Needle play no no, not that I fear it, but have had to endure enough needles in my life to not really want to do it for play

Needle play is very much about the pain and the endorphin rush. I have had a few needles in me and the tase of the endorphines has been delicious.Sadly I haven't had as much done to me as I like, but from a submissives point on one side it is about processing the pain and getting the endorphines. I have actaully put more needles in people. For the ones I have played with it is about the pain in a lot of ways. As a dominant I think it is intense in that all your focus has to be on what you are doing. It is almost a meditation, and I found it very psycikly draining afterwards. One either side it can be quite a rush,

Thank you for the replies[:)] ..I don't I'm not masochistic enough to like the idea lol no needles for me..have had enough of those in hospitals and there it just takes a second[8D] but I think it's quite interesting though at the same time[>:]
