This sight seems to becoming a haven for women from other countries that seek to be brought over here, or to take your money!!! I know that some people on this site are real, but, they seem less and less everyday!!!

Amazingly enough, I have yet to see someone posting here more than once as a foreigner trying to make it into the country (and even then only recall two) and have never seen anyone posting for money (except on the domme tribute threads which is of course not what the OP is talking about.

Maybe you should spend more time reading the threads where people tend to become more personally involved and invested. You may see more reality than you care for LOL..of course, that may also make you want to leave the site.. <wink>

Its the new mail order bride service. LOL. In all walks of life there are those looking for what we are not. It takes time to find what you are looking for, shoot it can take me weeks to find the right outfit. Never mind a life partner.

Be cautious, take things slow, be sure of who you are communicating with before you take any big jumps. Do not send anyone money unless you are feeling very generous as you will probably will get nothing in return.

Change your default search options to "United States". Then you won't see all the non-US profiles. You can even narrow it down to a specific state (Ohio in your case), if you want.

In life, whether in a bar, at a job, at your golf club, on a dating site, on CM, or wherever else you go, you have ethical people and you have unethical people. It is very easy to spot the difference. Eliminate the disingenuous people who cross your path, and focus on those who are more in keeping with what you wish to associate with. Its very simple. :)

I'm from Chile, and I'm Chilean. I don't feel like taking anybody's money, and I certainly don't want to go to the US, to live with some guy that I don't even know what he likes in his coffee.

Most of the time, I do get invitations from Doms (generally from the US) to join a 'family', be part of their 'beautiful household of love', trips around the world because they happend to be a very famous northamerican photographer (-"It's just that you don't know me because... ehmm... you are from Chile, and I'm not very known there?"-), or asked to ride his arabian horses by his side along the dunes of whatever pacific ocean's beach, or, etc, etc, etc, asuming that because of the poverty in my country, I would think of them as My 'Salvador'. I wouldn't be shocked if some girl actually believed all this crap, went to the US to live this wonderful image, and found a desgrace of a man who wanted her just to clean his shity apartment placed in a shity grey town. These girls are looking for better (or what they believe to be better) oportunities or at least a nice romance with their minimum of english skills and lots of naive thoughts, which, of course, makes them an easy target.

In this website or any other, it pretty much works both ways. So, before posting things like this, think about both worlds and check all the thousands and thousands of threads about the same issue. There's more bullshit around than you'd ever imaging.

Ugh,

Personal websites are infested with these sorts of people. Some people make a business from it. Some people do it as a game. It ranks up there with the infestations of meat-byproducts I get in my email each day. The only way not to get it is not to have the account in the first place.

I agree that you should set your parameters to see only profiles from those in the USA, if you are uninterested in looking at the others. You can also set your mail box to filter anything coming from another country, and that will go into your bulk mail. You choose if and when to read it at all. I check Mine regularly, but I know in advance that these are folks who may not interest Me at all since I refuse to do any cyber, and will not interact via internet over a long term basis. I also have no interest in being someone's ticket to the USA.
Don't be so quick to judge! But yes, this happens all over. And some, (I just heard from a friend that his Alaskan Beauty is actually a Russian living in her homeland), will fudge on their profiles to get a foot in the door.
Use common sense, and just ignore/delete or move-on.
And I do notice, plzblisterme, that you only jump to the boards when you have a complaint or a whine. How about participating in a positive and regular way? You would probably be surprised at how much might be available. Nothing wrong with perusing the profiles, but there are other ways to communicate and get yourself out there!

I have had one foreigner approach Me once, but I never responded and never heard back. I am not interested in picking up any woman, never mind someone off of a website. Thanks but no thanks. Almost every woman I have ever met on one of these venues has issues. That is why they are here. Just listen to them talk... "I have this mental issue". "I take these...pills". "I have fallen and I can not reach my keyboard". "Drama drama drama". "Nonsense blather nonsense". "I am so smart...smrt". "I spit my coffee all over the screen.. Aren't I clever?" "I moved in with my Daddy after one week of PMs. Now He kicked me out because he found someone else". And so on and so forth.

In My experience with dating, the women that you want do not seek online because they do not need to. It is usually the desperate ones whose last hope is to lure someone in from half way around the world. You know.. "willing to relocate". Yeah, you get the occasional cherry, but it is slim pickings and most of them have already been snapped up. Only seeking friends. You know the ones. If you get that hot chick that is not 300lbs overweight and proud of it and will suck your toes as she kneels naked at your feet at the restaurant, it is usually either someone trying to milk you for money or some HNG trying to get his rocks off. So, obviously I do not respond to them. I have what I want, and we all know that a fool and his money is soon parted anyways.

Might I suggest you try some R/T outlets such as munches, dungeon parties and other events? At least that way you know they are not trying to milk you like a cow. Just come here for the forums.. They can be a lot of fun and a great outlet to express yourself.

David, I agree with Kenin's post. In fact I'll challange you to leave the cyber world for a while and get into the real world with real face to face people and real munches.

However if you do decide to hand about here, and if you still dislike the site as much as you infer you do, please be warned that the exit door is both heavy and swings shut might hard. Don't let it hit your arse when you leave, I'm not sure if CM is insured for annal dammage from the swinging door.
