Why are you all so hard on politicians. I bet most of you have done something underhand at times tho' maybe on a small scale. I'm nearly perfect and I know I have!

If you are trying to gain public office and let's be honest, politicians are often telling the public how they should think and act, they should set an example. If they aren't capable of showing an example, they shouldn't ask what they ask of others. Though my theory is that all politicians are seeking self engrandisement through public office and the mere fact they put themselves up should bar them from running in the first place. But that is a little fanciful so I will remain a member of the permanent opposition.

If you wait for somebody as perfect as you believe yourselves to be, whoever you are, to offer themselves for public office, then you will wait along time. Unless of course you offer your self, whoever you are. By the way with regard to my perfect quote, my ex wife used to say I was a perfect swine, say maybe I was too modest.
